And Rush should have. My family and I have been very strong supporters of Donald Trump, but his leftist attacks over the weekend have made us rethink our support. Ted Cruz has been one of the few, fighting the establishment, and didn’t deserve Trump’s depiction of him. Right now, we don’t know who we are going to vote for anymore. And were sick about it.

Still think Trump is best for America.

Trump is not a politician and is reacting to a perceived threat. I’m more angry with his advisor(s) than I am with Trump.

Cruz has money. Cruz is controlled... to some extent.

Cruz was my #1 before Trump announced.

I would love to see a Trump/Cruz ticket.

The only thing I care less about right now is Rush Limbaugh.

Seriously?? Because Cruz intimated in a closed door meeting that he didnt want Trump’s finger on the button (which was a nice way of him saying Trump is crazy), and Trump responds by saying Cruz acted like a maniac, your’re rethinking your support for Trump? The better question is why would you be thinking of not supporting Trump and supporting Cruz over this? Unbelievable..

Don’t be sick about it. The more I look at how this is playing out, the better it looks.

Trump has gone so gonzo the last six-months that in comparison Cruz may now look sane and acceptable to both the GOPe and even some independents.

It wouldn’t have worked out this way for Ted had he been having to take all the liberal media fire as the “crazy right winger” the last six-months.

I’m hoping Cruz grabs the football and runs all the way to the end zone. This is a good development.

Trump was responding to Cruz’s comments about Trummp being unfit. This was caught on mike in a meeting with donors. Don’t give up on Trump.

Let me know when you find the perfect candidate that doesn’t make mistakes. Cruz made the first one by talking behind Trump’s back in a private donors meeting (notice he’s tied to the money and Trump isn’t). Then he and his campaigned denied and dodged before coming out with a “hug” tweet. He was caught...and he’s supposed to be the one with integrity? What Trump said about Cruz being a “maniac” is, in typical Trump fashion, aggravating, but not wrong. We just don’t like it. If we think Trump and Cruz aren’t going to step on each other’s feet during this process, we’ve got another think coming and we’re going to be very disappointed.

I think you're missing Trump's point. Cruz is what Trump says he is. He is not liked in the Senate, how is he going to get any of his agenda accomplished? He can't go over their heads by using the media, the media is going to play up the bad blood and play the angle that Conservatives are "too extreme".

Also Trump is brilliant in the sense that by painting Cruz as a "maniac" he counters all the criticism coming from within the party that you can't trust Donald Trump with his finger on the nuclear button. He pushes Ted Cruz out into that realm with his criticism.

As far as Scalia is concerned, who cares what he says about a life time appointed judge? He also says he likes Judge Thomas best rendering it meaningless from a Conservative point of view.

As far as alcohol subsidies go it's also a non-issue. No one is going to get rid of them anytime soon. Heck the republicans refunded the Export-Import bank! How do you think anyone is going to get rid of ethanol subsidies?

There is no conservative running for President this time around. Some candidates are more conservative than others but only Donald Trump has undeniably said he will build a wall as part of his immigration plan. I heard him reiterate it again and again. I have only watched a few of his rallies but at each one he mentions the wall and stopping illegal immigration. I believe there is still money left toward building a wall so it's not something he needs to go Congress for to start it. When he does need to go over the heads of Congress directly to the American people the media will be there to soak up every word because it brings in cash to their new departments.

Can anyone tell me why Cruz shot up so high in Iowa polls? Why did Dr. Carson fall so quickly? Carson hasn't really said anything that bad, but the media seems to have lost interest in him. What has Cruz done to make it all sky rocket? These have push polls written all over them. They know they can manipulate the field even if they haven't been able to do it to Trump numbers. If they can get people to believe someone other than Trump is leading they can affect number of delegates given out in these early primary states and then create the image of the tide turning away from Trump going into the winner take all states.
