RUSH LIMBAUGH: TRUMP’S ATTACK ON CRUZ RAISES RED FLAGS – [AUDIO]
TheRightScoop ^ | 12/14/15 | TheRightscoop

Posted on 12/14/2015 11:11:04 AM PST by gwgn02

Rush Limbaugh said today on his radio show that Donald Trump’s attack on Ted Cruz over the weekend, calling him a ‘maniac’ given the way he’s dealt with McConnell and others in the Senate, is not an attack a genuine conservative would make and it has raised a red flag for him: While I would certainly vote for Trump if he were the nominee, I’ve never thought he was a genuine conservative. But I do think he’s tried in some ways to bridge his positions with conservatism and I think he generally leans in that direction.

At the end of the day though, if he becomes president, I expect a lot of compromise with Congress, especially on his more conservative positions — and I know that going into the voting booth. If you expect something different you might be in for a big surprise.

This is also why I support Ted Cruz. I do expect him to compromise with Congress as well, as he has said as much, but I don’t believe he will go so far as to compromise his principles.

No matter what happens in this race, Trump has done a massive service to the country in talking common sense and breaking down the legacy Democratic media. We owe him a lot for this. It has been spectacular.

But now that Trump has cleared the forest, I’m ok with Ted Cruz coming on and being our nominee.

If you don’t know, why are you acting as if you are knowledgeable enough to carry on these conversations?

His transitioning of Obamacare over the the private sector for starters. You don’t agree with that?

You don’t agree with shuttering the Department of Education?

You don’t agree with reigning in the EPA?

You don’t agree with getting government out of control spending under control and starting to pay down the national debt?

Where have you been?

Oh my God....he has switched parties like women change hairstyles. The man was a democrat after 9/11 for goodness sake!

Anyone can mature...apparently he’s been maturing and regressing his entire adult life. If only we knew which was for expediency and which was a heartfelt belief. I know; lets rely on his pre- presidential run quotes!

A lot more than banning Christians from over 30 Muslim countries.

Just last year he was loving him some Obamacare....which one to believe....I just can’t decide.

And THAT is the freaking problem! Everything he’s said in this race is contrary to how he’s lived his life and what he’s said in the past. You choose to believe him because he says he’s gonna deport all the illegals (zero chance of that happening!!!). I choose to believe he’s just another conman saying what needs to be said because that’s how he’s lived his life...just working the art of the deal.

Trump is not a Liberal, and liberals are not supporting him.

Trump most certainly has taken some liberal positions on issues. He says he has evolved. That remains to be seen beyond his statements. So, I don't necessarily hold those past positions against him. Cruz changed to a more conservative position on TPA and for good reason. A conservative weighs the evidence and data and comes to a logical conclusion. Libtards fly off the hook at sound bites and crucify people based on group-think.

As for the claim that libtards aren't also supporting him, I know that claim to be factually incorrect. Two of the biggest libtards I know - who never vote, and I mean N.E.V.E.R. - registered to vote so they could vote for Trump. We're talking Big-Dawg-loving, tax-the-rich-scheming, pro-choice, anti-God, kool-aid-drinking, Obama-bootlicking individuals. They AND their respective families are voting for Trump. And guess what? They've never been polled.

“It”s something ironic,” said Ivan Arellano, 29, who is from Mexico and obtained legal status through marriage. He now works as a mason laying the stonework for the lobby floor and walls of what will become the Trump International Hotel.

Sounds like this guy is legal.

And yet, you can believe Cruz changed his immigration policy.

You guys crack me up.

H-1Bs ring a bell? TPA ring a bell?

Flip
Flop

Flip
Flop

Flip

H1-Bs are meaningless in the grand scheme, yall just use it as a hammer because it’s convenient. I didn’t like TPA.

one maybe two issues...now explain trump flip flopping on every core conservative belief? Frequently multiple times over his life

So those poll figures just fade away for you, because you can think of some wild assed Leftist who support him? Why not go all the way and mention some KKK guy who supports him? It would have just as much sway.

Some KKK nut or another backs just about all Republican presidential candidates. What has that got to do with the Republican base that has a clear majority going for Trump?

Those self-declared people are our base. Stop trying to muddy the water to ignore that fact.

Mr. “Have I got an excuse for you” isn’t selling to Conservatives. That’s not my problem.

Tell that to the people who had to train foreign nationals to do their jobs before being laid off.

That’s your modus operandi, it just doesn’t matter?

I don’t have to explain Trump’s flip flops anymore than you have to explain Ted’s.

He is hawking a Reagan platform. It’s that simple.

And what I love about Trump’s wall is he has explained how to build it. The concrete whatever it is they are called (I never can remember), footings, etc. Anyway, he has already planned how to do it and what is needed to do so.

Actually Trump does claim to be conservative and strongly wants to run as a Republican. I agree problems dealing with Senate leadership is a badge of courage.

On the occasions when Cruz used tactics to draw attention to whatever the issue was, on each occasion he knew the outcome was already decided. Therefore to some it looked like grandstanding for attention. Since he so quickly threw his hat in to the presidential race, it reinforces those beliefs.

On the other hand I am tired of the only think predictable about Trump is that he will attack opponents and critics. I would like to see a lot more substance to support his claims. I don’t want Rubio as the nominee but he does his homework(as does Cruz) and can speak logically and authoratively on this views. And voters to take note of that.
