You think Vera was a victim? She was a bandit.

That is stupid. It was her property.

That is stupid. It was her property. Until it is not. A lousy $20,000 house holds up a multi million dollar development that would provide many jobs held up not for the love of the property but for the exorbitant profit opportunity. Ever see a damn built to produce power or for flood control? Maybe a freeway? Or a railroad? Maybe an airport?

“That is stupid. It was her property.”
It remained her property, she asked as much as 5 million for it, then her son finally sold it at auction for 530K. Trump never acquired it.
For the record, again these are the statements you made on this thread.
“Trump used emminant domain to aquire private property”
“And the past use of emminant domain for private property aquisition is, well, despicable.”
Until proof is provided showing that Trump physically acquired property though eminent domain the two statements you made on this thread are FALSE.

That’s how I see it. The fables that we are told about how the government operates are just that - fables.
This is about POWER. The following quote illustrates the kind of people we are up against (the Elitists):
“Did you really think we want those laws observed?” said Dr. Ferris. “We WANT them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against... We’re after power and we mean it... There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted — and you create a nation of law-breakers — and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.”
— Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
THIS election will determine the fate of the nation. It is the single most important election since at least 1980, probably since 1932, and possibly since 1860. THIS election will determine if our Republic continues in any recognizable form, or if destroys itself as Rome did when it allowed the Caesars to assume power.

Similar, perhaps...but do you believe there’s the slightest chance Trump would even poll O’Malley’s numbers if he ran as a RAT?

Oh, come on, now...! Disagreement over candidates is one thing, but would a liberal say this?
"I'm campaigning for Ted Cruz. We need a conservative at the helm." I, for one, am enjoying the fact that Trump is giving the GOPe candidates and the media such a hard time... but politically/morally, I don't trust him any further than I could throw him with one hand. It's hardly fair (or reasonable) to suggest that "those who don't support Trump are all liberals/traitors to the cause/idiots/etc.".

“Donald Trump is a Big Government liberal.”
Yeah, sure. Blah, blah, blah.
Can’t we have a moratorium on the amount of anti-Trump propaganda these Cruz fans post here? It’s bad enough that every leftist site and every media outlet on the planet is on 24/7 destroy-Trump mode. I don’t mind people arguing for their candidate - but these people post anti-Trump thread after thread after thread. It’s like they’re deranged because their candidate isn’t polling half of what Trump is and they think somehow that repeating such nonsense as “Trump is a liberal!” is really going to convince HIS fans that their eyes and ears are all wrong.
To: Lazamataz
Brilliant post Laz. As always.

Donald Trump is a so-called “Rockefeller Republican” which in NY is basically a liberal who is too embarrassed to be associated with protestors like the OccupyWallStreet idiots. He is cut from the same mold as ex-Mayor Bloomberg and would be just as liberal.
