Voting for hopes is a bad risk, especially pinning conservative hopes on someone with a clear 26-year history of left-moderate politics and who only joined the Republican party six years ago, when it became the party of McCain/Romney.
You "hope" it doesn't become Trump's SOP -- from where I'm sitting, probabilities are that it already IS his SOP.
People don't eat Ethanol corn (at least hopefully not, it is GMO!)

>> “If Trump needs to sell out to Big Corn in order to win the primary, Iâm willing to forgive him.” <<

Arthur, you used to be such a straight up guy...
Disappointing to say the least. :o(
All of that is true.
Additionally, ethanol actually acts as a corrosive on car engines. It slowly degrades car parts over time.
Yeah, not so much. Unless the engine/vehicle is old and pre-alcohol fuel. Then, mostly rubber parts suffer. Any corrosion comes from water.
...without government coercion, oil companies wouldn't do it, and the price of gasoline would be substantially lower than it is now.
I recently drove through a midwestern state where you can buy either straight regular, or ethanol blend. The straight gasoline was quite a bit more expensive.
Why is that such a problem?
Good question.
Some are more moonbatty than others.
The prominent of the worse of the worse of the pollsters are WSJ, Bloomberg, Quinnipiac, Monmouth, PPP, cBS and a few others, and leftist university small time pollsters. They tell us who they fear and pick and choose their times to cook their polling data.
There's only ONE conservative candidate in the running worth voting for, and that's Ted Cruz. Donald Trump, who is actually a third-rate billionaire in the full context of America's best, would be a big and constantly embarrassing mistake for Republicans and America, the laughing stock of the world where Republicans think a self-publicized hot-headed patriotic celebrity CEO and TV host isn't going to be anything but a joke in the White House.
It has been for decades (See: Dekalb Hybrid Seed Corn)
And that’s not a diversion, it’s a fact. There are better arguments than that old crap.
I'm not an ethanol advocate but I'd prefer to continue to have it rather than have more Americans out of work.
Well, at least you're honest about being a big government type.
Funny crop of conservatives weâre growing these days.
Amazing, isn't it?
You are another one on the payroll, I am sure.
.
Pathetic!
.
When there is one.. let's say it's Cruz.
How has Cruz been treated in the Senate in the last few years?
He has been diminished at every opportunity by the GOP establishment.
And you're telling me that's ALL going to stop if he's nominated?
You on somethin'?
.
Well, the left’s spokesgal (Hitlery) has come right out and told us that Cruz is the guy they fear.
So much for all that (non-existing) doubt.
.
Actually they tell you who they want to face.
.
I have little difficulty buying non-GMO corn locally.
True that it is wide spread though.
.
Like dog poop.
Trump is the guy the commissioned to block Cruz last spring.
.
That stance will possibly win him the battle but he'll lose the war.
Voters in Iowa that have jobs as the result of Ethanol are NOT going to vote to take away their own paycheck.. not to mention the state which derives tax dollars from ethanol.
You call a piece fact that was demolished by another poster on this thread. The obvious explanation fits with your obsessive posting history: on the payroll.
Hilarious. Tone down the rhetoric against Trump? Trump and his supporters bash every other candidate, but we have to wear kid gloves when it comes to Trump? Not likely.
