Why should it bother anyone around here that Dee is upset with Trump because he does not see Trump that way any longer?

Have you seen the “executive order” thread, which is full of apologists?

How about a courtesy ping?

No, they don't care.

It's a cult of personality, not a rational electoral conclusion.

This is about feelings, not first principles.

I’m pretty sure the Cruz folks will be over here any minute complaining because a candidate’s thread has been swarmed by the other candidates followers.

From the beginning of his campaign, Trump has said he changed from pro-abortion to pro-life.

dee snider is being disingenuous.

let it whine.

Let’s grant Dee’s point.

If a North Eastern style Republican, a “Democrat”, a fiscally conservative, socially liberal guy is the ONLY one who can accurately point out the very real threats facing America and Americans and propose actions that will deal with those threats effectively, what does that say about everyone else in the “GOP”?

What exactly are they?

I’ll go ahead and answer my own question. They are liars who ran as conservatives but are actually progressives Hell bent on destroying America.

They are willing to risk ANYTHING to achieve their agenda, and if that means Americans have to die, then Americans are going to die.

So, yeah, considering what we have, I’ll take Donald trump over them all day long.

The butt-hurt is strong tonight.

The Pretenders don’t like Rush using their song
as his theme music but there’s nothing they can do about it.

Everyone knows Trump is no conservative but it’s not about ideological labels anymore. The political class of the Republicrat Party has so ruined this nation’s future that people are fed up with any politician. I support Ted Cruz, but I’m under no illusion that he’ll win the nomination. I know a few people who call themselves conservative, and I’m sure a number of you all do too, who are fed up with everyone with an R by their name who are going to vote for Trump. I don’t blame them if they do that and I think some of you Cruz supporters either fail to see or don’t want to acknowledge that Trump has a legion of support out there among our own ranks

No argument, Trump has a YUGE amount of support. For Cruz it is an uphill battle. Just as I refuse to give in to the GOP candidate of choice and vote for whom they, graciously, select on my behalf to vote for, I refuse to not fight for the candidate I believe to be the best, most conservative candidate. I believe Cruz to be that candidate. If he fails to win the nomination, then, and only then, will I look for the next most conservative candidate.

FU Sinder, as long as Trump pays the fees, you’ll take the cash.

This same crap, just like the “I’ll move out of the country if IT wins” crap, is all noise.

Chrissie Hinde (?) once wanted Rush to stop using one of their songs as his lead in...until she found out how much she was getting.

And it's a natural reaction in the emotionally undisciplined: if you've been enraged by the damage the President has done to the republic over the past seven years, if you've been seething for the better part of a decade, Trump provides an emotional release.

If someone gets punched in the mouth, most people respond by just swinging back wildly, not by going into a correct fighting stance.

Didn’t you hear? Cruz got the endorsement of some Dutch guy in Iowa. An ENDORSEMENT! They don’t just give those things out you know.

I don’t know why we’re even bothering to actually have the caucus after such an earth-shattering event. It’s basically over. Trump should drop out now and save himself the embarrassment. The Vanderplotz endorsement is YUGE!!! Yuger than Trump. Yuger than YUGE!!

I no longer care. Been screwed too many times. If Trump wins it all it can’t be worse. And maybe he’ll kick some ass.

I prefer Cruz but either one works for me. Trump/Cruz would be a landslide. Or Cruz/Trump. Donald is almost better suited for VP! No real duties and he’ll “be the best VP ever” and “as the head of NASA we’ll make space exploration great again!”

Hey, not a bad idea.

Still waiting for him to announce that he'll end Roe v. Wade by executive order.

Then we'll know how serious his conveniently-timed flip-flop was.

LOL, I hear ya. Some of the new threads here have been comical in the last few days. They’re so desperate to get Cruz threads going, they posted that same story over and over from different sources.

That’s why I put those links to Vander Plaats threads.

Just silly. This is a presidential election, and the tactics are juvenile.
