Remember Mississippi ?
The professional apparatus of the Republican Party are signaling their intent to do exactly what we predicted they would do.
Trump will win the primary, and the GOPe will split the party to run an additional candidate in the general election.
Itâs not Trump going third party â Itâs the establishment GOP (GOPe) intending to go third party. They are planning a modified version of the Mississippi Strategy from 2014.
.
“If that happens the time for open insurrection will have arrived.”
I think we’re long due for one, but yes.
I'm getting tired of this vacuous, arrogant bulls**t, which translates to "oh you support Trump - so there MUST be something wrong with your psyche or morals." I've always liked your posts dead. In fact you're one of my personal favorites, but if you keep it up, I'm going to have no choice but to consider you to be a vacuous, arrogant bullsh**ter.
The guy is the ONLY candidate not owned by Wall Street, the Chamber of Commerce, CFR and every other money pimp, foreigner or whoever happens to be buying our leaders with laundered money.
He has the absolute BEST gun policy of any presidential candidate in American history. Open carry for crying out loud.
His immigration plan is the ONLY one that will solve the problem at hand.
His tax plan is phenomenal.
As the father of an 7 year old, his plan to KILL common core is absolutely vital, because even private schools are being coerced into implementing it.
The guy has a set of brass balls, which is exactly what we need.
I could go on (and on and on), but the point is there are logical, well thought-out reasons that informed, intelligent conservatives are voting for Trump. Argue for your guy or against Trump all you like, but the next time you want to call our conservative credentials into question or play the part of some s**thouse psychoanalyst, maybe you should just STFU.
Just a suggestion.
In my rant - blinded by my eye-bleeding, over the top, rage at dead - I meant to type *NATIONAL* carry, not open carry.
Bravo!
Over the years on occasion I've pinged Jim to various current items of interest, points of contention in the forum and other things I might want to pass along on any number of issues.
It's my way of "lobbying" him so to speak.
Thank you both for the insightful posts. I saved them both.
“The GOPe must be ARE scared to death that Trump will uncover the extent of corruption inside the beltway.
Exactly. And they will destroy all that we hold dear as American citizens to stop the light from shining into their darkness. “
Just guessing, but I’ll bet that Trump has already got the list of corruption of every one of the congressional traitors in the eGOP.. Ace in the hole.
It seems Trump is ready for anything.
The eGOP and leftists are pulling their “October” surprises quite early. Wonder what they are saving up to 10-16?
More at LinkBrokered convention talk invites Trump to bolt GOP
By 12/10/15 7:10 PM
Republican leaders are reportedly girding for the possibility of a brokered convention in Cleveland next year. Donald Trump's reaction is the elephant in the room.
This scenario would occur if no candidate headed to the Republican National Convention with enough delegates to win the nomination on the first ballot, making the quadrennial event's role in the process less of a formality.
Obviously, your reading comprehension lacks. I clearly was referring to the behavior of a good proportion of Trump supporters you have lost marbles they previously had. I cited the case of the poster telling me I had to decide whether I loved America more than I hated Trump - which is just the sort of loopy bullsh*t so many goofy Trump idolaters engage in these days. As I clearly said, it was this sort of behavior I was clearly referring to. The messianic weirdo crap.
The guy is the ONLY candidate not owned by Wall Street, the Chamber of Commerce, CFR and every other money pimp, foreigner or whoever happens to be buying our leaders with laundered money.
Trump literally brags about how he's been buying politicians for years to do his bidding. Now, he wants to be in office himself, where he can do the bidding of his number one billionaire backer. That hardly gives him some moral high ground. If you believe your interests coincide with a silver-spoon, northeastern, big government showman, vote for him. He's not for me.
The positions he's claiming these days about guns and taxes are exceptional. I have trust issues based on his history of altering his positions, and we have no record to go by. You trust him, I do not. You vote for him.
He's strong on immigration. Everybody hates common core except Jeb.
My problem with Trump is that he sees government solutions for all our problems. His entire career has been built around public/private partnerships that enriched him and grew the government. I don't want more of that.
My problem with many Trump supporters is that they were once conservative and demanded some history of conservatism from their candidates. They don't care any more. They don't care if he corrupted our political system through legal bribery or gave millions to Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Crime family syndicate.
maybe you should just STFU. Just a suggestion.
Yeah, I filled your proposal in the appropriate place.
For the record dead, I realized that it might appear that I was "sicking" JimRob on you.
You're not the first Trumpoid to run and tell teacher about my blasphemy.
it's not at all the case here.
Nor are you the first one to try to explain to me why such a third grade p*ssy move was somehow more manly and mature in your case. Of course.
You weren't doing too badly until - in a sideways manner - you called me a pussy and a liar. That means you're losing the argument and (unlike many here) you don't know me.
The Trump phenomena certainly has caused some on both sides to act in ways they hadn't before. I'm glad you seem to agree that's NOT the case on my part. I can't say the same for you.
I'm the same asshole I always was. You're becoming the asshole you never were.
Just trying to keep pace! Have a nice day! Sincerely, not sarcastically.
Thanks for the ping.
Trump idolatersYou left out cult, cultists.messianic weirdo crap
It appears you are aligned with pissant and evening star (the latter an antifreeper false accuser and liar)
Using those terms corrupts your posts.
BTW, I also appreciate most of your well thought out posts but this method of disagreement rules out rational debate.
‘’The Blacks are going to be voting for Trump in droves.’’
Rush was reading results of a poll — msnbc, I think — about Trump’s statement denying Muslim immigration until the government figures out what’s going on.
It was broken into demographics of white, Hispanic, and black. The blacks were over 90% in agreement with Trump. Hispanics were next.
Nope. You misunderstood my comment at 55. If I had had more time and didn’t have to leave after posting, I probably would have run across one of the Cruz-haters/bashers and said the same thing to them, just using different pronouns.
What set me off about your comment about *not getting mad yet* is very much related to what you*re saying yourself. People here and on other forums get emotionally stuck on their preferred candidate (or stuck against their opponents). They lose all good reason and become a mark for the trolls. The typical pattern: Each camp gets their feelings hurt, the name-calling begins, things escalate, more feelings get hurt, more name-calling, then here come the trolls to exploit and split conservatives up so they can dilute our votes. It*s quite maddening to watch every 4 years. It*s also frightening to see how easy it is to manipulate people online. Some of these trolls have early sign-up dates, btw; they*re just smarter than others.
Back to you and your original comment: When taken in the context of this article about Thad Cochran’s election theft, it appeared as if you were in the camp of emo-driven people — the people who get SO stuck on stupid that they are willing to let Hillary win, but by golly, THEY WERE RIGHT!
*Trump is a Trojan Horse!*
*Trump is an Elitist!*
*You*re stupid for backing Trump. Go Cruz!!!*
*Cruz is a globalist who voted for PPP!*
*Cruz would let illegals in with HB1 visas!*
*You*re stupid for backing Cruz. Go Trump!!!*
So tell me, why do conservatives who pride themselves on possessing such a high intellect allow themselves to be manipulated every election cycle? Why would anyone here want to see a war between Cruz and Trump supporters? Most of us are okay with either candidate, so maybe the rest of you who are entering your Stupid Season need to cool it.
And what*s a good solution to stop this cyclical madness? Jim can’t really call for posters to stop these heated conversations without seeing consequences. Last I know, he*s not interested in running a Hitleresque website. He has had to do it in the past because it got so ridiculously out of control, but it*s a last-resort measure.
I quit making my list of EmoPosters years ago, so maybe you people can just self-identify and resolve to go buy a punching bag or something. Do it for JimRob. Do it for our country. Or just do it because it makes you look a little smarter.
Or just keep it up and i*ll save this reply and repost it in 2019-2020 when Hillary is holding a token *election* and going for your guns. Whatever.
Thanks for the ping. Somehow I missed his response to me.
Oh, and I think I should go reserve the screen name of Emo-Group so I can address the groups on each side in an equitable manner. :-)
He's sorry to put the GOP in such a spot, but he's going to be the nominee!
How do you feel about the Conservative Review?
They’re headed up by Cruz BFF Daniel Horowitz, and appear to hate Trump.
And that was obviously supposed to be TPP, not PPP. ‘Cause the “T” is so close to the “P” on my keyboard, dontcha know. ;)
