Donald Trump's call on Monday for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States" is unlikely to blow up his campaign. No matter how outrageous his statement seems to most Americans, his supporters apparently eat up stuff like that.
Forty-six percent of Mr. Trump's backers say that their minds are made up and won't change before the primaries, according to a Dec. 2 Quinnipiac poll. Only 33% of Ted Cruz's supporters, and 23% of Marco Rubio's, say that they are sure of their choice.
Apparently no matter what Mr. Trump does, he continues to poll generally in the mid- to high-20s, with an occasional survey putting him in the 30s. In mid-August he dipped to 22% in the Real Clear Politics average, but he hasn't fallen below that mark since. This high floor, however, is matched by a low ceiling.
His antics-calling his GOP competitors "losers" and "clowns," insulting Sen. John McCain for having been captured in Vietnam, mocking a reporter with a disability, crudely attacking Fox News's Megyn Kelly-have made it difficult for him to grow his base.

I’ll borrow a remark from El Rushbo on his Wednesday program, in a rhetorical question for Carly Fiorina, Jeb Bush, John Kasich, et al, who are saying that if Trump is the nominee, Hillary will wipe up the floor with him.
“If Hillary, or anyone else for that matter, is going to wipe up the floor with Trump, why aren’t they doing it NOW?”
He has a 5%+ lead on Hillary right now, and he hasn’t even started in on her yet. When Trump becomes the nominee, and begins to publish all Hillary’s felonies, crimes and misdemeanors, in speeches, videos, TV ads, Tweets, etc., she’ll be looking for a cave to crawl into or a rock to slither under.
That “wipe the floor” crock that’s being bandied about is a real kneeslapper. But we DO enjoy a good joke now and then, don’t we?

Trump called him out and said I won’t back down from you or your words if I am right and you are wrong. Once again Trump is right.

So...we're going to have this long term conflict over muslims. The ONLY solution is for the muslims to LEAVE. If they stay the conflict remains and we will eventually have a civil war between muslims, you and whoever supports them because their book, the koran, teaches them to subdue, tax and/or kill those who oppose islam. If they leave, we have no beef with you nor you with us anymore.
Again just proving he can be the biggest ass in a field of asses.
Trump did not mock that NY Times scumbag. Trump did not know of the scumbag’s disability. Trump used body language to express the scumbag’s attempt to retract what he wrote 15 years before.
The NY Times is a has-been newsroom that is now occupied by scum. They tried to turn the story into Trump mocking disabled persons and they failed. But they got to you, because you swallowed it hook, line and sinker.
