Trump Hits New High of 35%; Anti-Establishment Surges to 65%
Breitbart.com ^ | 10 Dec 2015 | John Nolte

Posted on 12/10/2015 7:29:05 AM PST by Rockitz

Proving once again that our oh-so superior DC pundits are out-of-touch and blindingly bubble-dumb, a new CBS/New York Times national poll shows that all this talk about Donald Trump’s so-called ceiling is just more wishful thinking. If you thought the DC Media was furious before over their inability to destroy Trump, now that he has surged to 35%, the pundits’ impotent rage is about to go nuclear.

Last month, in this same poll, Trump sat at just 22%.

Trump isn’t just leading with 35%, he is crushing second and third place combined. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) enjoys that second place standing with 16% support — which is a massive surge in this poll, quadrupling his showing in the last one. Ben Carson is in third with 13%. Establishment favorite Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) sits in single digits with just 9%. Jeb Bush remains the walking dead at 3%. Carly Fiorina is at just 1%.

When you add together the national support for Trump, Cruz, and Carson, what you see is that a full 65% of GOP primary voters are in full rebellion against the Republican Establishment.

...

Trump is not a politician. He is a revolutionary leading a revolution against two of the most hated, corrupt and dangerous intuitions in this country: the elite political class and a rotted, fat, comfortable, left-wing DC Media that has set the politically correct rules for presidential campaigns in such a way that our country is falling apart.

Power to the people.

Trump living inside heads of GOPe and leftist MSM 24/7.

I wouldn't put it past them to dust off Romney for a last gasp attempt to steal this.

Extremely well stated.

It was not that many weeks ago I heard the talking heads on Fox News say that if Trump continued to poll 25% he would win the Republican Primary.

I guess with Trump at 35% he wins in a landslide.

The talking heads in the media and the DEM and REP parties are getting major push back from “We the People” and the elite snowflakes do not like it one bit.

I had a thought this morning. They’re not going to dust off Romney and they’re not even going to try very hard to prop up Jeb or any other “establishment” candidate. They’re going to bring someone who’s relatively unknown as the white horse savior. My guess is Mike Pence, or perhaps even Pawlenty.

The big boys say the Rep. can’t win with Trump or win without his supporters, that means Hillery and I have had my fill of experts.

Yep. Between both Rush Limbaugh and Trump living in their heads, perhaps we’ll get lucky and their heads will collectively explode.

According to the morons on the Glenn Beck radio show right now, the reason for Trump’s great poll numbers is that he was a celebrity on the Apprentice. Without that show, he would be down in the low single digits. Frankly, I never watched the Apprentice, and now I wish I had.

Ha! The RINOs are leaders of a party without voters. Trump, Cruz and Carson are leaders of voters without a party.

Trump has always thought outside the box, and I would not be surprised to see him try to do something audacious, like bring in Rush as his VP. I think Rush has always shied away from it because of concerns about the media crawling into his business (wives, pain killers) but with Trump running interference, it might just be time for him to step into that old arena.

The other natural selection is Cruz, if Cruz will take it. They both seem to get along. He can't make the mistake that Reagan did of letting the RINOs into the tent, but at the same time he has to understand that they are going to sabotage him every step of the way, unless he makes a Kasich his VP. So he will just have to work that much harder, but the people are with him.
