I am assuming that no comment was actually required from him. Perhaps he should have remained silent on the issue.
Well, that’s a reasoned point. I’m not sure what the public pressure in Israel was, but it would seen it wouldn’t be very strong.
Israel does have a sizable Arab populace segment though.
