Vice President Joe Biden predicts that if Donald Trump were to go up against Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, the former secretary of state "wins in a walk."Â During a Dec. 8 interview with Bloomberg Politics on Air Force Two, Biden discussed his opinions on the business mogul and current front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination. The vice president was particularly critical of Trump's proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S.
"I don't know what his motive is, but I know what he's preaching is a very, very dangerous brew for America,"Â Biden said.
The vice president speculated that Trump's campaign wasn't serious from the start, but that his strong poll numbers has emboldened the business mogul.
"Is this just a guy doing 'Celebrity Apprentice' for himself?" Biden said, referencing Trump's former reality television show. "Is this just a guy who's an entertainer? It may have started there, but, I now think "¦ he wants to be president. But I don't think there's much chance of that."Â
Biden then questioned the practicality of Trump's policies, singling out the candidate's plan to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
"I believe he's smart enough to know half of what he's saying makes no sense,"Â Biden said. "Build a wall? He's got to build a wall that's the best wall and the highest wall? A lot of this is showmanship."Â
Biden told Bloomberg Politics that Trump is doing well in the polls because his rhetoric plays into the current fearfulness in the national mood, adding "I don't think it's sustainable."Â
Biden predicted Clinton would easily defeat Trump in a general election.

Don’t listen to what they say, but look at their actions. Everything they do is out of panic because Donald Trump is a frontrunner and will win the Presidency. If he wasn’t a threat would they keep sniping at him? Do they say this about Jeb Bush? No because Jeb Bush is no threat to anyone. Watch what the opposition does, not what they say.

I’m taking one for the team. I find that cussing at the radio helps.
One doesn’t have to scratch Mike Medved very deep to find Big Government Thug.
Medved has a past that I’m sure many of his listeners would find surprising given the way that he presents himself.
He started out political life by giving aid and comfort to the enemy when our GIs were being killed in the Vietnam War. He was a leader and organizer in the biggest anti-war demonstrations of 1969.
Medved isn’t stupid so he surely knew how immensely useful this propaganda effort was to Hanoi’s war effort. He likes to downplay what he was doing, claiming that he was a moderate compared to his comrades like Bill Ayres.
He then went on to be a Congressional aide, and his choice of a good politician to work for was Ron Dellums. Red Ron Dellums, a Democrat In Name Only because in reality he was a Castro supporting communist.
Sometimes Medved says that working for Ron Dellums is what made him a ‘conservative’, although it’s apparent that his ‘conservatism’ is really just 1960s Cold War liberalism. His ‘move to the Right’ simply took him out of the Communist fellow traveler camp over into what used to be the Thomas Kuchel, Nelson Rockefeller wing of the GOP. The wing that hated conservatives, but at least unlike Medved didn’t falsely advertise themselves as being one.
So in a way Micheal Medved is being true to his roots. In leading the antiwar mobs Medved was a traitor to the Americans who were fighting the war- you know, the soldiers he gushes over on his program as if he is a big patriot. And now he is a traitor to conservatives, by taking their name as he continuously advocates policies that are anathema to most of us. Some things never change. But you have to give him credit for creating a career out of fooling people into thinking he is a conservative and a patriot.
