It took Trump just about an hour to form the appropriate media response to being "snubbed" by Time editors for Person of the Year 2015 in favor of Angela Merkel (and also the leader of the Islamic State, al-Baghdadi). He framed it, as he usually does, in Twitter format:
I told you @TIME Magazine would never pick me as person of the year despite being the big favorite They picked person who is ruining Germany
And yes, it's easy to accuse Trump of being a sore loser (even though he continues to win: remember for the media mogul, it is all about media presence, and unwittingly Time contributed to his cause), but the reality as Reuters reports, is that once again, Trump may be - in his traditionally very politically incorrect and hyperbolic way - spot on.

Time also made this award to Adolf Hitler.
:: Iâd bet that Time considers this one to be a compliment to Merkel ::
Just like CNN in Baghdad. It allows them a friendly-fire interview with the subject.
The message is, “We’ll throw you underhand soft-ball pitches and you can hit them out of the park. As long as you don’t deny us access.”
LOL Maybe she will win the Nobel Prize and be listed along with the other disasters who have one it.
Any contest like this is ultimately subjective but clearly Trump wanted to win...he’s competitive that way.
Watch it, Donald...you can get hanged in this country for telling the truth!

Rood riddance to them and their Caesarean ilk.
Molan 1776!
“As a matter of policy, Time has never given MOTY to a candidate”
Enlightening. Thanks.
“Person” of the Year?
Per’son’ is such a sexist term Time. Why is it not “perdaughter”? Really, let’s get politically correct to the nth degree. Also, this is a serious microaggression against all those sons out there who may ‘feel’ they should have been born daughters.
* - Apologies for the sarcastic comment but at times I feel a need to vent to regain my sanity in this crazy upside down world.
No way Merkel shaped the news as much as Trump this year.
<><><><
Trump has shaped the US news as it relates to election politics this year, until his Muslim ban got him international headlines.
Merkel has been in the news as the money person behind the Greek bailout (and all the subsidiary issues around that), and in discussions about other bailouts, and has been the flashpoint of the so-called European refugee crisis.
Trump’s shaping has been more parochial, not global (yet). He still has something to shoot for.
Trump doesn’t like to lose over anything, does he? Well add Germany to France, Mexico, Latin America, the entire Muslim world, and China on the list of countries Trump has already pissed off.
Are they pissed at Trump for suggesting that's what should happen?
His comments on French gun control laws didn't seem to win him any friends in the French government.
I honestly believe that what few friends we have left after eight years of President Obama will likely be alienated within the first six months of President Trump.
Bibi and Trump have a lot in common
Both hated by American media
Yes how true you are with that statement...
The thing is, Merkel is ruining Germany.
I’d rather those Euro-snowflakes learned their lesson some other way.
No doubt she is on the short list for that as well...
The MSM gets away with this stuff because they’re part of the Democrat Establishment.
