Way too many people seem to think that the Constitution is actually a suicide pact. No one has the “right” to come to the US. The US, and every country has the right and obligation to keep out those who wish to destroy or harm their country.
Everyone has been jumping on the Smash Trump bandwagon, but he is exactly right, and will most likely gain support, because he is the only one daring to speak out about what has to be done.
It is an inconvenient truth that Saudi money infects almost all of DC.
We are going to have deal with them sooner or later.
Someone on FR this weekend said that we can no longer be the Janissaries for the Saudis--I thought that was a brilliant observation.

Greta did a lawyerly job in avoiding the real reason that most media and ms politicians oppose Trump’s statement. But at the bottom line, they all believe that one cannot discriminate against foreigner on account of their religion or make religious belief a criteria for immigration. Sad, but true. They believe this.

THIS is the crux of the matter. NONE of these high falutin agencies, departments, or government entities have protected us 100% to date. With immigration levels as they are, we got what we saw in California. NOw, ramp it up to speed and allow 100,000 Syrian Trojan Horse refugees and watch what happens.
And I trust this bunch to keep us safe??
NOTHING keeps us safe except keeping them OUT and sending whomever is left back home.

Trump is very smart to attack each issue separately. If he started talking about the LEFTs overall strategy to take down the US, he would sound too extreme.

All of the talking heads—and Giuliani—are citing the Constitution. The Constitution does not apply to non-US citizens trying to immigrate.

Agreed. Citing the Constitution is lame. They only apply once you’re in this country. The don’t apply to people on foreign soil that are asking to come here.
Somebody need to explain that the Constitution was never intended to allow a non-uniformed army to invade the nation under the guise of immigration. It is an ideological invasion. The majority want Sharia. Each one is another paper cut, enough of them is cultural suicide. Why would you import that?
I am afraid, more and more, the answer is: they desire sharia to replace the pesky Constitution.
