Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump called the media "scum" at a rally on Monday night, and singled out a reporter who was on the scene, calling her "third rate" and accusing her of lying about him.
"The mainstream media want to surrender the Constitution," Trump declared at a rally in South Carolina.

I spent over a decade in the media. Most of it at a Tri-state regional paper. Yes. The media is scum. Thats why there are no conservatives left in it.

Technically, yes. However, MSM has become so evil, so vile and disgusting that it often assumes the role of a single iconic villain in the minds of a lot of people - thus the “media is.....”
