Agree, Trump knew fools like Jeb would bite on the hook to become Obama me.
Cruz is smart enough not to rush to the microphone and figure out the ploy. I’m for Cruz, but if he isn’t the nominee and Trump is, will be happy to vote for him.

If he was just spouting off at the mouth, T could have said this a long time ago. I too believe he calculated the nuances of what he was going to say, projected the backlash, and went ahead with it. The guy seems emotional, because he stakes out perilous positions, but I think he’s more cerebral and calculates the outcomes of these broadsides. I don’t totally understand, but I like it.

This is the first overt signs of the Trump/Cruz axis. I guarantee you that if Trump is the nominee, then Cruz is the Veep. I think it's a done deal.
