The point missed by all is ISLAM is a THEOCRACY (Sharia Law).
They view their religion as a government as well.
THEREFORE, true Muslims actually are lying when they swear to abide by the U.S. Constitution because they DO NOT BELIEVE the Constitution is the supreme law of the land. They believe Sharia Law trumps the Constitution.
THEREFORE, Muslim immigrants to the US can’t be allowed to be US citizens if they can’t honestly swear to abide by the Constitution of the land, right?
Most other religions do not proclaim to be both a government and a religion.
This is what TRUMP should be saying, “If you believe in Sharia Law and not the Constitution, they are mutually exclusive. In other words, you cannot be a citizen.”
