Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump says he wants to know what sport President Obama was talking about when the president mentioned in his Sunday address that there are Muslim-American sports heroes, and asked if the president was "profiling."
"Obama said in his speech that Muslims are our sports heroes. What sport is he talking about, and who? Is Obama profiling?" Mr. Trump tweeted early Monday morning.

The only one that comes to mind is Mohammad Ali.
And Kareem Abdul Jabar
They are descendants of the Muslims Obama mentioned who had such a profound effect on the establishment of the United States...
yep, Ali and Jabbar come to mind.....there was this guy named god Shamgod that played college ball a few years ago.....a name that would terrify me...
There’s some other black athletes who converted. I can’t think of any who were born to Muslim parents and were raised in that religion.

Well, Saints fans probably fondly remember Az-Zahir Hakim. He dropped a punt for the Rams in the 200 season playoffs helping ensure a Saints win.

Olajuwan of the NBA was born in Nigeria as a muslim. But I agree, almost all muslims in professional sports converted, and most to “The Nation of Islam”, not actual Islam, which is an entirely different critter. Malcolm X was assassinated by The Nation of Islam because he became an actual muslim and started following the Sunni faith.
Farrakhan has his followers read Dianetics and has The Church of Scientology “audit” them, for crying out loud.
Ahmad Rashad? TJ Houshmanzadeh? Lew Alcindor (oops, Kareem Abdul Jabbar-wocky)? Muhammed Ali? Ain’t heroes to me! They would have to do something, like, heroic!
Willie Mays, Bo Jackson, Jackie Robinson, Reggie Jackson, Michael Jordan and Hank Aaron were all Muslims.
Off the top of my head I cannot think of any Muslim major-league baseball players, and of all the team sports in the US, I don’t think there is one that is more racially/ethnically diverse, in both its players and its fan base, than MLB.

Well, I have never understood Blacks’ attraction to islam. Islamists enslaved Africans, sold them, to some extent still practicing slavery today. But they - blacks - somehow think this great religion with the arab buggerers and pedophiles is going to treat them better than the evil white man?
But didn’t ali convert when he was older?
