UPDATE: 4:58 a.m. EST -- The Islamic State group, also known as ISIS, said in an online radio broadcast Saturday that two of its followers carried out Wednesday's attack in Southern California that killed 14 people and injured at least 20 others, Reuters reported.

"Two followers of Islamic State attacked several days ago a centre in San Bernadino in California," the group's daily broadcast al-Bayan said. The news comes after reports surfaced that one of the attackers, Tashfeen Malik, pledged allegiance with ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on Facebook. However, the FBI, which is investigating the shooting carried out by Malik and her husband Syed Rizwan Farook, said that there was no evidence the attack was carried out by the Sunni-militant group that also claimed responsibility for the Nov. 13 Paris attacks.

UPDATE: 3:10 a.m. EST -- The area surrounding a UPS facility in San Bernardino, California, was evacuated late Friday after a delivery boy found a package addressed to the home of the suspected attackers in Southern California’s mass shooting Wednesday.Police later said that the package was determined to be safe and posed no threat, according to reports.

The facility is reportedly a mile from the social service center where Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, killed 14 people and injured 20 others.

Though ISIS claims credit, there is no evidence as this point (to my knowledge) that they had foreknowledge of the shooting.

woah. let’s not jump to conclusions.

obama is like Sherlock Holmes!

He’ll get to the bottom of why this attack occurred.

Just give him a few years.

But lets not rush to judgment.

After all, they were nice people and had a baby. And were educated. And their family is shocked.

or something.

Islam carried out the attack.

But it could be workplace violence, or post-partum depression, or

or hell, it could be Obama-induced jihad.

oh, and there’s more on the way, being injected by federal force. BOHICA baby.

Apparently the two were inspired by ISIS. Rather than denying any connection, ISIS issued a statement acknowledging the two’s allegiance and condoning the attack. That in itself connects ISIS to the attack. Foreknowledge is irrelevant. ISIS could have denied any connection or relationship, but it did not.

It was an act of war to everyone except the Muslim sympathizer in the White House. Fir him, just another day at the office.

Foreknowledge is irrelevant.

Here's why it is not irrelevant: If ISIS is actually directing attacks in the country or communicating with domestic terrorists, there is a channel of communication that might be intercepted.

I don't think there is such a channel, but, it it turns out there is, it's in our interest to tap into it.

I’ll bet “delivery boys” at UPS had been delivering quite a few packages to this address with a middle-eastern surname, without question before last week. Why? Islamaphobia?

Well, “followers”, you know, could, uh, uh, mean that they were not full fledged members. Jihad by proxy if you well. Still home grown. /s

I agree. But the original comment was that from the standpoint of influence or inspiration it is irrelevant if ISIS actually ordered the attack.

Where is the 3rd shooter? Who are the half dozen men seen going in and out of the house, that helped set this group up?

Add to that, are they following the money? How did they pay for all the weaponry and explosives they accumulated?

The story about a 3rd shooter turned out to be false.

And you can be sure that the FBI is doing everything in the power to locate those who helped the shooters.

I wonder how much freedom to investigate the FBI is being allowed. I don’t trust Loretta Lynch and wouldn’t be surprised if she isn’t in there trying to put up roadblocks in the investigation.

The official position of the Obama administration is that ISIS and Al-Qaeda have nothing to do with Islam. I’m not sure if this also applies to Hamas, Hezbollah and countless other “non-Islamic” radical terror groups, but I expect it does.

They use the word terrorism in a very generic way whether it’s committed by mentally deranged murderers or by radical Islamic jihadists.

Rush was expanding on this yesterday.

The witnesses, those who survived the shooting, claim that there were only two shooters. It very unlikely that there were three.

OTOH, you comment about the "half dozen men seen going in and out of the house" is spot on. Apparently that question is included in the MSM "NOT TO BE ASKED" Question List. It is such an obvious question that it is simply amazing that it not a daily subject of inquiry with the FBI. Or maybe it is and I'm just missing it.

They dont need to know each attack beforehand.

All they have to do is set the wheels in motion and let the pieces carry out their attacks, at their leasure, on targets of convenience.

They get to project power without having to worry about logistics.
