About 15 per cent of the city’s black infant deaths are the result of unsafe sleeping conditions: placing the baby stomach down, using loose blankets rather than a secure sheet, and letting the baby share a bed with his or her parents. I would say abortion is an unsafe condition so that number is probably closer to 74 percent or something.
Fat black women get drunk and/or take drugs, fall asleep and crush their babies. Black boyfriends who are ot the father are driven crazy by a baby that wont shut up and kill the baby.

Of course. The article goes on to postulate it's caused by the stress hormone cortisol because these women feeeeeeeeeel like they're being discriminated against. Notice there's no evidence they're being discriminated against, or even an accusation by the women, only speculation they feeeeeeeeel that way.

We always swaddled our babies and they slept well. Recently found out it was the wrong thing to do.
We also slept with the babies as well.Never crushed em.

Hispanic women are just as poor but their infant mortality rate is about at the white level. One would think that if the cause is stress hormones due to racism there would be some effect on the at least somewhat discriminated against Hispanics.
On the face of it it does not seem like a good explanation.
Neither for that matter does the behavioral explanation, where its due to neglectful mothers or murderous paramours, because one would expect a continuum with respect to other populations in poverty that also probably misbehave at a higher rate than whites.
There almost certainly is something else.
The difference is that many blacks do NOT take very good care of their children. No one wants to admit it, but it’s true.
A paper presented at the latest meeting of the American Public Health Association by two sociologists and reported in a recent issue of the Journal of the American Medical association presents what might seem, at first glance, to be a paradox.
The contrast was most striking between immigrant Vietnamese women, with infant mortality rates of 5.5 deaths per 1,000 live births, and African American women, with rates of 16.3 deaths per 1,000. The JAMA article was titled “Born in the USA: Infant Health Paradox.”
The authors concluded that the viability of the newborns was harmed more by the unhealthful behavior of the American mothers than by the poverty and late prenatal care of the immigrant women. The socioeconomic advantages of the U.S.-born women were overshadowed by their medical illnesses and by their psychosocial pathology.
The true paradox in all of this is not that unhealthy and self-destructive behavior of pregnant women is worse than poverty and late prenatal care for the health of the fetus and newborn, but that health care researchers and journalists should be surprised at these findings. Practicing physicians take this for granted. The further one gets from the ivory towers of academic medicine, the more one realizes that quality and access of medical care matter less to health outcomes than does the health-related behavior of individuals.

I guarantee you one hundred years from when the white population is only about 10% of the population, Evil Whitey will still be blamed for every problem of black people. It just never ends.
I think the answer is black on black violence......I think if you take only homes of black children that have an intact family both a mother and a father legally married and no drug use in the home you will find the percentages are the same as a white intact family no drug use in the home.
It appears to me that Hispanic women are just much more content/fulfilled as mothers, as opposed to bearing unloved children for financial gain/a life of leisure.

It’s pretty accurate.
Extreme infant mortality in Milwaukee is just part of the black inner-city welfare culture - no white is permitted to comment. The city and county is a Democrat/Socialist stronghold, as it has been since the city was founded.
We have a rising Hispanic population in our town. I have no idea of their legal status but they seem to have intact family units and care for and dote on their kids at level that makes our whites at the same socioeconomic level look terrible.
