After a coordinated DC Media attack that would have ground any other candidate into ash and dust, Donald Trump has not only held on to first place in the latest CNN national poll of GOP primary voters, he has surged +9 points to a massive +20 point lead. As of now, in a 12 person race, Trump sits at an astonishing 36%; his closest rival, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% , jumped +12 points to 16% support.
Despite spending tens of millions of dollars on ads, Jeb Bush sunk -5 points to just 3% support.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 80% gained +4 points to earn 12%. Ben Carson lost -8 points and now sits at 14%.

Trump is just too far ahead at this point. Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
I wouldn’t light a cigar just yet; no actual, you know, votes have been cast yet. Things happen. It’s certainly great that two acceptable (or better) candidates are 1 - 2 in this telling. Time will show. And after that, Hillary - unless she is tossed out of contention on her ear by a sudden outbreak of self-respect by a few purple and/blue states which could, properly should, ban her from the ballot for accepting, while senator and while secretary of state, big bucks from foreigners, including foreign governments (the money was laundered by giving it to Bill for speeches and by contributing it to the Clinton Foundation. Hillary is of course a principal of the Clinton Foundation and of her partnership with Bill, and should have either gotten Congressional approval in advance for it, nixed it - or resigned her office first).
- Article 1 Section 9:
- No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state
How does a state legislator complain about Citizens United limiting McCain-Feingold, and then turn a blind eye to Hillary going from, in her own words, “dead broke” to controlling a quarter of a billion dollars (that’s billion with a “b”) while on the federal payroll?? In direct contravention of the Constitution?
Personally I think ads are no longer effective. People tune them out by switching the station or fast forwarding through them. Almost nobody watches "live" television anymore at a set time and channel with commercials and all. Everything is getting time-shifted for later viewing or streamed on demand.
Jebbie and his backers, they are taking millions upon millions of dollars and flushing it down the toilet. What a waste of money.
