The devout muslim shooter went to a work meeting/CHRISTMAS Party. He was agitated at the party. He left and he and his devout muslim wife put on armour and got their weapons. They had a pipe bomb. The shooting was on the anniversary of a muslim recognition of the martyrdom of Mohammed’s godson. just like other incidents have come on their holidays.
Gun control will not stop this if some evil religious fanatic wants to shoot a place up. The president insists on letting more immigrants from islamic hellholes (somalia, yemen, syria) in the country and then gets upset about our guns when an islamic terrorist commits a horrible act. It’s time for blowback on Obama’s indifference to our security and not restraining innocent citizens from gun possession.
Someone brought up a good point in another thread. He was not “agitated” at a Christmas party, he was there scoping it out making sure he and wifey could unleash carnage without much resistance. His parting shots were being agitated at his “prey” before murdering them.
They had this planned for a long time.
Some of those at the party have said the terrorist was very quiet - disappeared before pictures were being taken, i.e. no confrontation, agitation, etc. IMO, he was casing the place that day/time ... had been to Christmas parties there in years prior, showed up, checked it out, and decided it was a soft target & mass casualties could be inflicted. Personally, I doubt it had much to do with the “workplace” other than he knew of the event, knew about how many would be in attendance, and had access, plus he knew the premises - shooters went into the east doors that led directly into the room where the party was held.
Another interesting fact - the black SUV (Ford Expedition) was a rental, thus the Utah plates. It had been rented 3 or 4 days prior to yesterday, was due to be returned yesterday. These guys were looking for a big, black vehicle to use in their attack, that’s why the rental - again, not related to the “workplace”, but part of a terror attack plan.

I wonder if Obama’s gun control measures will extend to mosques.
The gun control that makes sense to me, is daily inspections of every mosque in the USA. Obummer seeks to take away guns from good Americans who only seek to defend themselves; yet we know mosques are stockpiling and handing out offensive weapons to islamic terrorist cells. They hide them; we may have to do the same if Obummer tries to take ours.
