Read “Day of Wrath” by William Forstchen, in which the author sets forth a terrifyingly plausible scenario for mass terrorism in an urban/suburban environment.
Then try to think about how you would react if it happened.
Tried to read some of his books.
Great writer, but when I read fiction I want a happier story.
So I filed it under “non fiction”, and haven’t finished it yet.
I just recently read his book “One Second After” about an EMP attack on the US. According to his scenario, most US citizens would not survive long term, and I believe it. Excellent book, I recommend it.
