He's simply (blindly) sticking to a script, that at the base level is a
domestic one, which is sending a signal that the Regime isn't backing off on domestic 2nd Amendment issues - and he IS stupid, since he couldn't improvise on the fly to spin the concept of the remarks in a tactful way as to not obviously offend anyone, he just plowed ahead word for vapid word.
I firmly believe 0bama fully intends to grab guns and cause civil war thereby. He WANTS it.
He may have been put in place to cause it directly.
IIRC, Ulsterman mentioned that the WH had war-gamed 0bama as a martyr as a ploy.
