Cruz is right. There are basic steps to be taken first before we can even go address the illegals remaining. Without securing the border, any deportations would just be met by a stream of more illegals coming right back over the border replacing them.

Mercer has contributed $11 million. Evidently, Mercer doesn't believe Cruz is beholden to any group soft on illegal immigration.
