I imagine they spiked footage of Muslims celebrating in the USA, fearing retaliation on Muslims. They didn’t want to focus the nut jobs on Muslims here. Plus Bush was spewing the line that “Islam is a religion of peace” garbage.
Moderate Muslims are peaceful in spite of the religion, not because of the religion. Egypt seems to be moderate, despite Obama trying to help the Muslim Brotherhood take over the country. Turkey was moderate. Looked at it now.
Yes, serious scrubbing appears to have happened. Even from articles from that time. I’ve read blogs posted on the subject that had links that now no longer work. Threads with pics, have pics that are no longer available. Quite strange.
