Deputy Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Sunday once again praised the current terror wave against Israelis, which Hamas calls the “Al-Quds Intifadaâ€, referring to it as "the greatest strategic development in the region" in recent years.
Speaking at a conference of religious leaders in Gaza, Haniyeh said the “intifada†has "changed the equations for anyone who believed that the time for the intifada was over, because the struggle and the intifada are not over and our people have the power to impose other equations."
He added that the intifada succeeded in less than two months in pulling the rug from under the perception of coexistence and in “liberating†the Palestinians from thinking about everyday life so they can focus on the “real problemâ€, as he put it.
These achievements, Haniyeh claimed, are a result of the acts of Palestinians "who cling to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the child, the woman, the man, the boy and the girl who are fighting with their teeth, knives, cars and words". He stressed that the intifada would continue until the ''liberation of Palestine" and added that another achievement of the intifada is that it toppled Israel's deterrence capability.
Haniyeh recently released a call for all Palestinian Arabs to continue this "intifada", saying in a speech that was recorded and played at a conference in Istanbul that "the knife of the intifada" defends the name of the Palestinian people and the Arab Islamic nation at its holy places, among them Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Hamas terror leader emphasized that the wave of terrorism will only escalate in force.

The statement does kind of clarify the solution. It starts with this guy, if you see what I mean.

I live in Jerusalem and I see that the morale of the people here is very strong.
Just last week, after a young Israeli girl saw her father and brother massacred by terrorists, she postponed her wedding for a week and invited the country to join her. They held it in the biggest convention hall in the country. They saw thousands of people come, even though it started at 10:30 pm, and there was dancing in the streets outside. Both chief rabbis were in attendance and the wife of the Prime Minister, Sara Netanyahu, came as well.
A personal tragedy turned into a national celebration.
What is really amazing is the total lack of clarity on their position. If the Israelis were actually to attack and cleans Gaza, there would no be a thing Hamas could do. Israel has the power to actually get rid of the problem, genocide it might be.
And if Hamas keeps pricking the lion, one day it might actually attack back. Especially since there are fewer and fewer voices for restraint in Israel as these attacks continue.

There was a poster at one of the work stations where I once worked. It read, “How many men where there? Which way did they go? I must know these things as I am their leader.” The Muslim middle east is a mob. Occasionally somebody rides up and says they’re the leader.
Mr. Haniyeh would make a great start on that, as SamuraiScot says.
