All of the above. Turkey wants to be a bully country. And the Kurds can tell you they’re pretty good at it. It’s part of why they’re backing ISIS, they’re trying to move up the food chain. But they’re still a jr bully, and there’s very a 2nd tier bully hates more than being reminded that as far as 1st tier bullies are concerned they don’t rate.
