I have heard that the shooting started in the parking lot, not inside PP. There was also speculation that this was a robbery gone bad or a domestic dispute between the gunman and an ex-wife or girlfriend.

A lot of stories and possible scenarios. Nothing proven or confirmed yet. Of course, that hasn't stopped people from blaming Ted Cruz, white Christian men, Republicans and/or anyone owning a firearm.
