lowly but surely, some of the very same pundits and political operatives who swore a couple months ago Donald Trump was running a losing race are now reaching a realization: hey, he's not disappearing, and in fact, could actually win.
"He has a real shot at this. He is the clear front-runner," said Ron Bonjean, a former aide to Republican leadership on Capitol Hill. "Months ago, we all discounted Trump as a candidate."

"The media has twisted and turned through a number of different positions where they tried to explain that it was just a fad--the summer of Trump," said Craig Robinson, a former political director of the Republican Party of Iowa, the state Trump's led for months and that is readying to go to the primary polls Feb. 1, the Hill reported. "Well, it's lasted all fall. There is a realization that you are not going to wake up tomorrow and he's going to vanish."
Robinson turned critical eyes on the Republican establishment wing that's been so quick to dismiss Trump, despite poll numbers that paint him in the consistent lead.
"That is wishful thinking of the establishment," he said, the Hill reported. "That is what they tell themselves so they can sleep at night. The truth is, Trump has one of the better ground operations in Iowa. Will he turn out every single person who shows up at his rallies? No. But if he turns out a fraction, he will roll over the field."

I don't think the party insiders have any idea how "Pissed" off average Americans are, and they are ready to kick some serious ASS!
Trump knows this and is tapping into that anger.
Trump at his last rally in SC said he is not doing it for the life style that surrounds being President. It would be a step down for him. He wants to save this Country from disaster.
Any Trump people in his campaign should be telling him to push this in his campaign.

You obviously haven’t seen Trump’s new campaign schedule! He plans on huge rallies 11/28, 11/30, 12/2, 12/5. He is ramping up a campaign blitz never seen before. Prevailing wisdom be damned.

I appreciate your take very much. I do get the fact that Florida will be a battle royale, fought between the machines and the opponent candidates who are still standing, and all out against Trump. But what you said makes sense.
He will beat Hillary. He will be a good President.
That is great news. Usually the Thanksgiving to Christmas time is a lull period for presidential candidates. If Trump is going to turn on the afterburners while everybody else is sitting still, it will be fun to watch.

GOP learns what suck it means.
In fact, *so* insightful, that I can springboard off of it to another level of truth.
Donald Trump is using the leftists' own social engineering tactics, in service of the truth, instead of falsehood!
What do I mean?
Look at the past political campaigns, BT (before Trump). Sam Donaldson or Brian Williams or Chris Matthews or someone would grab a line from a fringe-kook leftist site, and use it as part of a gotcha! against a conservative: Sarah Palin is an inexperienced Caribou Barbie, Christine O'Donnell is a witch, Ronald Reagan is going to start a nuclear war, George W. Bush is stupid; the GOP is racist homophobes; "war on women"; "macaca". That kind of thing.
The talking heads for the GOP-e, who mistakenly thought "well, people are basically good and honest, so if I just tell the truth, that'll set the record straight" -- only to fall into the maw of the press, who delighted in deliberately misquoting (as they tried to with Trump about a database for Muslims), or just lying openly through their foul teeth.
The net result, is that the ACCUSATION got discussed, and infinitely more airplay, than anything of substance; and when the air finally cleared, the news cycle turned over, the residue that left was the *association* of the charge with the GOP.
Trump is doing the same thing: exaggerating the truth, but in a "Social Justice Warrior baiting" fashion: they lose their collective heads like lemmings and scramble at all costs to virtue signal and call out Trump's heresy: only to find that they themselves are spreading the meme!
Good call, Mr. Trump.
Incidentally, you might want to seek out and read the book 'SJWs always lie" by Vox Day -- he used to be a columnist at TownHall.com or such. The book is available on Amazon.
He makes almost the same stump speech at every stop and still packs them in, standing room only. No, those people will never show up to vote. Right? Right?

You guys hold up the Constitution as if it had some magical power to ward off the evils of Government. It has about as much power as a restraining order against an abusive husband bent on killing his wife.
Rights belong to those willing to defend them. We need Governors that are willing to defend the Tenth and they are woefully missing in action. Maybe Matt Bevins will begin a trend.

I began this season with the comment that Trump was a fumble mouthed blowhard that never finishes a sentence. He still is but he is also a Patriot that aims to wreck the establishment. Go Trump!!
Where I live my vote will never matter, the selection will be over before a vote is cast and the general will go to a democrat or commie no matter what.
More than half of the American public knows the media lies to us to promote their agenda (and that of the Left) so we are inclined to consider what they say is the opposite of the truth.
When Trump says, "there were muslim celebrations in New Jersey after 9/11," he is blowing the media dog whistle. The media immediately start barking that reports of such celebrations were proven to be false.
When the public hears the media scream this, they immediately reaffirm that the opposite is true and this points right back to Trump and underscores that he's not only speaking truth to power (power being the media) but also using the media to underscore the truth they in the media are so desperate to hide.
And by once again exposing the media, Trump is victorious. And his point made...we do indeed have a muslim problem (and the media is hiding it).
And there is one more benefit to the media dog whistle scheme.
When Jeb Bush and other candidates jump up to agree with the media that this muslim celebration story is false, Jeb et al align themselves with the lying media and tarnish themselves. Carson has figured this last point out which is why he jumps in to take Trump's position in all these situations.
Vote anyway. This election the vote will not go to a democrat or a commie, God willing.
