One man is dead after a shooting Wednesday in Aiken.
Coroner Tim Carlton said Frank Frazier Jr., 23, was fatally shot at 1pm, Wednesday on Willis Hill Road in Aiken.
According to witnesses, a couple was purchasing a car from Frazier that was posted in a Craigslist ad.
It is then alleged Fraizer and an acquaintance of his each pulled gun on the couple in an attempt to rob the couple.
The woman in response pulled her gun and shot Frazier and the other man fled from the scene.
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the matter.

Frazier and his pal must’ve pulled squirt pistols from the dollar tree. Too bad for him
Hopefully it’s as written, but we all know how these things go sometimes once the investigation gets into high gear.
Another brilliant thinker eh? LOL! I guess I could have added surrender monkey but I didn’t want to offend any monkeys.
I love this story although the couple was stupid to do a Craiglist deal anywhere but a police parking lot.
Bought a truck for my son on Craigslist. Got there and I had on an NRA hat and so did the truck owner/seller. We kind of looked at each other’s hat and smiled.
The statement had been made and we both relaxed after that.
the Craigs list auto ad was code for heroin or maybe meth
To a muslim at that.
OHHHH So the couple was going to buy drugs? That puts a whole new focus on the story.
well.....perhaps
Odd there isn’t more news about this. I could only find two brief stories.
#carsellerlivesmatter.
More likely an attempted armed robbery gone good. They ask the marks to meet them with cash to make the sale. When the mark shows up they take the cash but don't deliver the goods. Sounds like they were not prepared for armed marks. Thank God for the Second Amendment.
Someone holding a gun pointed at someone with a concealed but readily deployable gun is at a disadvantage if he is not previously much practiced in the shooting arts. The sudden move by the defender often freezes the gun thug for a fraction of a second and the defender who is already moving gets the first and probably only shot.
That’s hilarious.
That makes me suspicious about what really happened. But maybe it’s a simple as the brief stories say. Of course the msm won’t pick it up if it’s as written. No way they’d promote a self defense story. Since that only happens in movies.
That would be EVIL second amendment. Any SC FReepers have more on this story?
When ads were in the paper, and you telephoned the seller, and one of you attacked the other, was it called a “telephone” robbery? a “newspaper” robbery?
