At Thanksgiving dinner, we talked some politics. Usually a bad idea. But everyone, independent, dem, republican, conservative..there was at least one of each, plans on voting for Trump.

Same here. We spent the holiday with majority lib/progressives. Guess what? Most are (all but one) supporting Trump. I was shocked, but gave thumbs up to hubby, when we left :-)
I think (most) everyone is sick of the direction 0 & Co have taken this country and see Trump as the one who can turn this mess around.
Lot of Trump talk at my Thanksgiving table too. Other than a few snarky comments from the youngsters who get their talking points from school and Facebook and think they know it all, it was very positive. Trump got an unanimous vote from all those over 25 in my house today.

When I read your account, it made me think of something, I believe, that General Patton used to say. “When everyone is thinking the same way, then somebody is not thinking.”

You have a variety in your family! But if they’re all for Trump, that shows he has cross-over appeal.
