If these federal agency’s responses have to go through political appointees’ signoff of course they are biased, slanted and probably outright lies.
The truth is that you cannot believe anything any part of this government says or does any more.
Noticed years ago on a popular weather site that the day after a large rainstorm it would show an inch or more and invariably a couple of days later it would change and show as 1 or 2 tenths of an inch despite rivers of water running down the streets.

I also believe the emphasis on global warming/environment nonsense is to fabricate a legacy (with no performance metrics) to pretend our first mulatto president was a resounding success. The real legacy (deteriorating economy, collapse of ObamaCare, etc.) will be broomed under the carpet,
and 100 years from now Obama will be remembered as the hero who saved the earth from global warming.

The fact is that the Sun's magnetic field is declining so less Sunspots are formed.
