The Syrian Army has no presence in what is in effect a lawless area where Syria is not exercising its de jure sovereignty.

So the Turks shoot down a plane for entering their airspace and the way they are going to launch a CSAR effort into Syria’s airspace? Totally implausible. The Turks seem to have some serious regrets over this.

It's OK to invade Syria because Syria has been destabilized by the White House, that about it?
