Ted Nugent on Trump [interview]
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
That’s what I get for posting without reading the whole thread.
:)
I hear you. Following politics seemed like a full time hobby when the Clintons infested the White House, and it seems it’s been downhill from there. Had I invested that time and energy elsewhere...
Sorry, but in the real world there is no such thing as a one time tax, ever. Once they've been able to go to that well they will return to get more, over and over and over.
Second, the VERY WEALTHY or somewhat wealthy or simply wealthy or middle class or anybody else didn't create that debt. Our wonderful fantabulous "leaders" created every cent of that debt ... the same "leaders" that are looking to others to pay of THEIR spending bills.
My candidate doesnt. Nor has he ever backed Universal healthcare or supported Hillary Clinton.
No, he SAYS he had a major awakening....and he's only SAID that since his run as an (alleged) Republican. But what, pray tell, has he DONE that shows what he SAYS means anything. As all he's done is TALK...THAT means we can't trust him now.
Other than that whole support the “assault weapons” ban thing. Other than that, why golly, he’s just peachy keen swell on the second amendment.
I’m hoping the bad guys don’t assassinate Trump.
It is the end if they do.
A terrible end for those who gave their life to keep this going.
Which he doesn’t support.
I guess you missed the part where he said the idea will no longer work since the debt is so high. He made the suggestion in 1999.
I also guess you haven’t read his official tax plan.
But he did...and that’s a pretty big friggin deal to those of us who are ardent 2A people.
Trump would not risk his entire life’s work and his reputation, his livelihood or that of his children to not be I n this to win this and to do what he says he will do.
I know that’s hard for those suffering severe TDS to begin to comprehend.
As a reminder....Trump has changed the entire dialogue, on this election. From the illegal immigrant invasion to the way we should be fighting ISIS.
If you can’t see or understand this, then I can’t assist you.
JimRob seems to trust Trump enough to support Trump, for these very things.
I’m as ardent a 2A person as anyone, but people can and do change their opinions. You are talking about 15 years ago. The whole country has become much more pro gun than they were then. When Trump talks about his adult sons educating him on gun issues I believe him.
Who besides D. Trump speaks out against birthright citizenship and favors deportation of illegals? Maybe R. Santorum. I do not recall anybody. Today on Greta Santorum made a good case why the Syrian invaders should not be brought to this country but instead helped to remain in Syria.
And that is completely your prerogative. I absolutely do not believe anything he says. He is just another in a long line of statists. I will absolutely not vote for him. It would just be another slow road to hell vote. If we’re going to hell in a hand basket, let’s get it on...I’d rather have that fight than have my kids have to do it.
First, you can stick your “TDS” comment where the sun doesn’t shine. Because I have not drank the trump koolaid and I have zero faith in the man because he has DONE nothing to even remotely SHOW he’s a conservative is not indicative of derangement. As cripplecreek said earlier:
Iâm damn sick of people who complain about the GOPe betrayal of conservatives only to have them turn around and tell me that America can only be saved if I betray my most deeply held ideals and vote for a big government progressive because heâs right on 1 issue.
News flash: There is exactly zero chance of illegals being forcibly deported...zero. And the sooner all the trumpeter swans realize that, the better.
I have a news flash for you, Mr. Ideologue.
There is an excruciatingly infinitesimal chance that the electorate will suddenly decide to take a hard right lurch by voting in a conservative that will satisfy your every desire at this point in time. It could happen, but I wouldn’t hold my breath!
I would love to see Mr. Cruz become our next POTUS, and I prefer him to any other candidate, but I will happily vote for Mr. Trump if he is the Republican nominee as I am of the belief that he can at least begin to steer us back towards the right.
If I can’t have Mr. Cruz, I’ll take Mr. Trump over any other alternative that has been presented to me at this time.
If you have a problem with that stance, then you do not understand the demographic situation in this country at this point in time, IMO.
I think you make a difference. It’s the little things, a little bit at a time, support for those little fires so to speak. You’ll go down fighting, as most of us will, if we go down.
Fight back as Trump is doing. He’s a breath of fresh air in the political arena.
If you have kids, they’re already doing it (having that fight). Fight for them and their future, imo.
Your vote is your vote and your entitled to it. I respect that. I don’t agree with not voting for a candidate who has a real shot to win but I get it that some will just take their ball and go home if their candidate or a candidate of their choice isn’t the nominee.
IMO our demographics have changed so much that even Reagan wouldn’t win now.
