Happy Thanksgiving to you all. May there be many blessings in each day.
What are your Thanksgiving plans?
I am working and will probably have dinner at work.
Tried to find a Chinese or Indian restaurant that would be open tomorrow, but they are all closed.
Hope to find you all well and with your families and loved ones and friends and with lots of pumpkin pie!

My condolences.
Sounds like you have a lot of memories of the Holiday.
God Bless you and yours.
Sounds like you have all bases covered, beer.
We’re staying home this year. We’re having turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce with fresh oranges, sweet potatoes, squash, turnips, green beans, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
We’ll have a fire in the fireplace and watch football.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
When I was young, Thanksgiving started at noon on Wednesday, when the pie making began. All deep-dish. Three apple, three pumpkin, and one mince. Then the giblets would be boiled and the bread dried for the dressing. The cranberry sauce would be made, one with orange and one without but all with maple syrup.
The Turkey would be scrubbed and readied. The vegetables would be brought out to be on hand on the Day. We would eat a small soup supper and after supper the dressing would be assembled using the meat grinder to make onions and giblets into pulp.
Christmas music would start playing that night.
Grammie, miss you so.
Thanksgiving Dinner In The O'conomyOnce again the turkey is in the White House instead of on the family dinner table.
Football day! We used to go to the local highschool game in the morning, just to cheer!
Nothing worth noting.
Stay home, cook dinner.
I’m doing the pies today.
I’m planning on Coca-Cola ham, mac and cheese, green bean casserole, yams, rolls, pumpkin pie and pecan pie and chocolate and choc chip cookies.
Diabetes here I come.
Wanted turkey with sausage and cornbread stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce and the usual trimmings, but the kids heard about Coca-Cola ham on TWD and lobbied hard for it so I guess we’ll do turkey for Christmas.
Love it!
Truer than we would like to imagine.
Spend many a Turkey Day at work. Hope the day will be peacefuL for you MrC4E and I will be home enjoying our simple dinner and visiting with family long distance. Happy Thanksgiving to all here at FreeRepublic.
I am with you. Turk and trimmings!
I love both.
That sounds wonderful.
I miss my Gram, too. She was an amazing cook, and such a nice lady. She always wore dresses with coordinating costume jewelry and heels. She never owned a pair of slacks in her life. She had at least five or six aprons. :)
me too.
We did, too. It was fun!
That sounds GREAT!
Having a guest from another country which is common in college towns. He’s an Asian guy from Australia.
