A large group of juveniles robbed a designer store in Georgetown Tuesday evening and stole $13,000 worth of items, according to D.C. Police.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. at the Diesel store in the 3000 block of M Street NW. More than 20 people, police said, went into the store and grabbed several items off the racks, according to a police report. They stole four leather jackets, costing about $800, and an additional $12,000 worth of merchandise.
One person who worked at the store was said to have been pushed from him behind by someone in the crowd. The employee was not injured, according to police. Police described the suspects only as juveniles.
The incident comes after a group of merchants in Georgetown ended its use of a private messaging service that many retailers, residents and police officers had used to talk about people they thought were suspicious. There were concerns that the service was being used to racially profile people.

Christmas Shopping ?
Teens?
Time to shoot criminals dead.
Terminal stupidity.

Do you need to know more?
About a year ago a 20 something year old guy got his ass kicked and was robbed by yoots as he strolled down the street in G-town. He said that “he understood, as they don’t have the things he has”. Wonder if this store’s attitude is the same?
If certain groups don’t want to get talked about, er, “blackly” then they might try to look for, or at least welcome, a better point of view for their lives? And inasmuch as it might still make sense, shame on them for their part in casting shadows of suspicion upon those who look alike. Nature might not be able to help it (the Monarch and Viceroy butterflies, one of which tastes terrible to birds therefore causes the other to be left alone too) — but people CAN help it.
Terminal stupidity.
And they’ll never figure it out.
They didn’t choose this on their own. They were hounded into it, and gave place to the hounding because, like so many people today, they were so, so shallow.
At least they didn’t break windows and burn the place before they looted it. Look for this activity to grow in popularity.
