While authorities in Ankara have insisted that it shot down the Russian Su-24 bomber after the aircraft entered Turkish airspace, the Russian Defense Ministry has released video proving that the plane never left Syrian airspace.

Meanwhile. Pentagon cannot confirm (as yet anyway) alleged Russian violation of Turkish airspace. http://fortruss.blogspot.com/2015/11/pentagon-no-proof-downed-russian-su-24.html

It does indeed. Two Muslim scumbags (Erdogan and Obama) cooking up a plot to divert attention from the BIG scheme of smuggling ISIS fighters all over the globe.

They were only in Turkish air space for two or three seconds, if that. It had to be a timed "set up" shot, with an operator looking at a radar picture with his finger on a button. This was nothing like an incursion where an escort aircraft is sent out. There was no time. Reminds me of an ambush or a trap, ready and waiting. Jets making many sorties probably brush that spur on normal in-out flight path routing. Probably a few times they touched it or crossed it. So the Turks (and maybe the Americans, offshore on navy ships, possibly) had the real-time radar imagery, knew the flight patterns, and set up a missile ambush. IMHO. If you looked at the past 2 weeks radar for that zone, I'll bet it is near a normal takeoff and landing flight path.

Exactly - if the plane was in Turkish airspace at all. Meanwhile, Turkey repeatedly violates Syrian air space at its leisure to bomb Kurds.

Yeah, well ... I don't believe Sputnik, nor the Pentagon, nor Obama, nor Putin ... so I'm not going to bank on any of these claims.

That said, I support the Russians bombing the 'rebels', be they ISIS or of the so-called 'moderate' variety.
It also is clear that Obama - and his mis-use of our resources - supports Islamic terrorists. And Putin's motives notwithstanding - his team is doing the right work.

You noticed that, too? He only posts on Russian-related topics just like any other paid troll of the Putin regime.

Why? Because, contra the Cold War, Russia is the leader of the International Right today and the US/EUSSR is the leader of the International Left. Russia is on the right side of every major economic (flat tax, no estate tax, low corporate tax, low government spending, etc.) and social (abortion, homosexuality, religion, multiculturalism, immigration, radical feminism, etc.)

The USG/MSM’s greatest propaganda coup has been persuading American conservatives that their natural ally, Russia, is an enemy. The Keynsian socialists and cultural Marxists laugh at you joining them in spreading their evil worldwide.

Turkey is a ‘little’ nation of no great consequence in the grand scheme of things and they would not have shot down a Russian jet without first getting the permission of the USA. That was my first thought when this whole story broke.

“Turkey repeatedly violates Syrian air space at its leisure to bomb Kurds.”

Putin and Assad will declare Syria a no fly zone with the exception of Russian and French aircraft.

Your move Barky.

You’re absolutely right. It takes time for the missile to seek. “0” time is not an option.

I like that you didn’t argue with me about the ‘Comrade Chekist’ comment. That says a lot all on its own.

I ignore personal attacks (usually). Maybe you would like the testimony of someone a little more familiar with the practices of the Cheka/KGB.

• “Vladimir Putin — yes, he was an officer of the intelligence services, but he was not a KGB investigator, nor was he the head of a camp in the gulag. As for service in foreign intelligence, that is not a negative in any country — sometimes it even draws praise. George Bush Sr. was not much criticized for being the ex-head of the CIA, for example.”

“Putin inherited a ransacked and bewildered country, with a poor and demoralized people. And he started to do what was possible — a slow and gradual restoration. These efforts were not noticed, nor appreciated, immediately. In any case, one is hard pressed to find examples in history when steps by one country to restore its strength were met favorably by other governments.”

Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Nobel Prize Winner for Literature, author of “The Gulag Archipelago,” now required reading in Russian schools.

I ignore personal attacks (usually).

Which makes sense since you probably don't get paid to respond to them.

I wouldn’t know as I don’t speak Russian and live in Washington, D.C., a former lawyer and senior executive with the USG to boot!

I am willing to assume you are an honest conservative since you post here. I will go into more detail than I did previously if you like on the issues. But I am willing to bet that, on all major social and economic issues, you would agree with Putin/Russia and not Obama/US. Yet you persist in damning Putin and Russia to the delight of the Marxist Left in the US and EUSSR.
