Putin Tells The World What Kurds Have Been Shouting For A Year: Turkey Supports ISIS
24th November 2015
Kurdish Question
Russian President Vladimir Putin has finally told the world what the Kurds have been saying for over a year. That the Turkish state, it's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and AKP government are facilitating, supporting and benefiting from the terror waged by ISIS (Daesh).
The downing of a Russian fighter jet this morning by Turkish F16 fighter jets in an area near the Turkey-Syria border has led Russian President Putin to speak bluntly about what he has been reluctant to say outright for a long time.
This is what Putin said:
"This is a stab in the back from accomplices of terrorists."
"Lots of oil and oil products from ISIS controlled areas flow to Turkey. If ISIS has so much money, tens of millions, maybe billions, and is acting so brazenly, it is because of protection by a country's (Turkey) military."
"Following the downing of the plane, Turkey, rather than engaging with Russia, ran to engage with NATO, as if Russia had downed the plane. This incident will have serious consequences for Russian-Turkish relations."
Russia had recently stepped up its fight against ISIS in Syria and had been warned openly by Turkey and Erdogan about stopping this. To counter this Turkey resorted to spinning a narrative about Syrian Turkmen, who are directly armed and trained by the Turkish state and affiliated with groups like Jihadi Ahrar al-Sham and Al-Nusra, being under attack and victims of Russian bombings, which turned out to be a lie.
There were also claims that Russian jets had bombed tankers owned by Turkey President Erdogan's son Bilal Erdogan, which were transporting ISIS' oil from Syria to Turkey.
Images have emerged of the two Russian pilots, who have reportedly fallen into Syrian territory controlled by Syrian Turkmen and killed after landing. A video has also emerged of Turkmen militants supported by Turkey firing at one of the pilots as he parachutes down to land.
and our dear leader supports turkey-
Coinkidink? I think not
America apparently supports ISIS too.
Dear God, let me out of this lunatic asylum ;/
“Russian President Vladimir Putin has finally told the world what the Kurds have been saying for over a year. That the Turkish state, it’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and AKP government are facilitating, supporting and benefiting from the terror waged by ISIS (Daesh).”
Would be nice if someone looked at the map of the middle east and understand what is happening. If Syria falls, with Turkey the next in line and already an ISIS supporter, it is a short hop across the Black Sea to Russia. And what is the biggest port on that side of the pond? Ukraine.
Puts Russia’s gameplan for protecting the motherland in perspective.
Turkey has spent years allowing jihadist groups to flourish - so beware its real reasons for shooting down a Russian plane
Turkey has no interest in the peaceful settlement to the conflict in Syria that world powers are negotiating. As Erdogan gets desperate, he will attempt to bring focus back to Assad
Whoops! And the conflict grows again.
I don’t recall ever sitting back and watching the rest of the world wage war. It’s not as bad as I thought. I might be enjoying it at our nation’s own future peril.
It’s been said, but, just like the last World War, it started and the USA will again be late to the party. Everytime (this will be the 3rd time) the USA decides to go isolationist, this is what happens. We always end up having to get involved. What will be the cause this time that gets us engaged in this one and when will it happen? Will it be a major attack in the US that steers us? The next President?
FReepers, hold your kids tight and love them all you can. Some of us may be sending them off to war in the coming years. Thank you Mr. President.
Why not just lock up the lunatic in Chief. The 25th Amendment should be invoked..
As I recall, the Kurds have been warning us about Turkey for four decades.
And that Turkish envoy met with Stevens just prior to the attack in Benghazi.
“Lots of oil and oil products from ISIS controlled areas flow to Turkey”
No wonder we couldn’t find those tank trucks for a year and a half.
We are sleepwalking into a maybe WW3 (or 4) all because Obama is either stupid, arrogant, ignorant or a Muslim - I can’t tell. We need some old hat diplomats from the Cold War era to save us from these morons.
THIS IS MY SHOCKED FACE:
They all gotta go. It’s not just him.
I wish it was just him, but it ain’t.
Chronology: O turd has been getting wrong intelligence.
News Flash: IG investigating that Cencom was told to not report unfavorable info regarding ISIS.
Next comment from O turd will be: we got to find out who was telling them to not report unfavorable info. Probably was someone left over from Bush who did the same for him.
In my dreams: joint committee begins impeachment process.
The Kurds and Turks are long-time enemies, so the tenor of this article is not at all surprising. Still, from everything I’ve read thus far about this incident it seems apparent Turkey screwed up, and its allies that killed some of the Russian air crew after they had ejected from their damaged aircraft definitely f***ed up. Shooting at aircrews in parachutes is one of the biggest no-no’s there is. It is nothing short of murder.
Turkey supports ISIS
Saudi Arabia Supports ISIS
Saudi Arabia is our friend and Turkey is our NATO ally.
....head exploding.
The Russians should arm the Kurds to the teeth and let them carve Kurdistan out of Turkey and Iraq.
I can’t believe I’m posting this, but if 0bama thinks he’s going to send my sons to fight Russia, he can forget about it. He can’t have them. A generation ago, if war had come between the United States and USSR, I would have been the first in line to sign up.
The world is a different place now.
The US is no longer in control of it's military. I would be for a coup right about now, but it won't happen. Obama cleared the military of officers with loyalties to the constitution and the people years ago.
American doesn't side with ISIS - Obama and the democrats side with ISIS...
