Club for Growth is Cruz's top donor. Goldman Sachs is 4th.

You're posting only the small Campaign Cmte Fundraising PAC. Cruz's PACs in total have raised about 38 million.

Here are the top four donors.

Anti illegal immigration billionaire Robert Mercer is the top donor at $11 million.

I was wondering why the numbers were so small.

“Anti illegal immigration billionaire Robert Mercer is the top donor at $11 million.”

Then I wonder why he’s been so wishy-washy on what to do with the illegals here. If he had said anything the least bit authoritative/forceful/not-the-right-words-really about them, I wouldn’t have switched.

Robert Mercer is also a fan of free market economics, skeptical about the climate change hoax, and no fan of a tyrannical, politically motivated IRS which all fit perfectly with Cruz's conservative positions.

The NYT published a pretty good profile last April of Mercer who lives a very private life, see Hedge-Fund Magnate Robert Mercer Emerges as a Generous Backer of Cruz

FreeReign, thanks for the link to the article about the new director of the Keep the Promise Super PAC. I really like David Barton!
