I don’t have an update, but my niece sent me an email about the incident. Her son went to middle school and high school with Peter Gold. She said that Peter will recover from his stomach wound. She asked for prayers for Peter, who is apparently a really nice guy.
Terrible incident. A good Samaritan deed ends ip with a bullet in the abdomen.

Cain tried to shoot him twice in the head, but the gun jammed, police said. Even though he was shot, Peter had angels looking out for him. May God continue to bless him in his recovery.
