Trump Tower is at 57th and 5th Avenue. The World Trade Towers were at the base of Manhattan. That's a good 7 or 8 miles away. Is his eyesight that good?

I can still remember where I was in my car when the news came across the radio. I can't imagine what it would be like being in New York at that time and watching from a distance.
I mean it's not like he claimed he tried to get into the marines, or flew into a country under sniper fire.
