I don't watch national news. I might tune into the local channels for the weather, but I don't really even need that.

I did get a kick out of one local TV station's reaction to its poll regarding whether the city should take in the Syrian refugees. I think the vast majority of the poll's participants said no. The news lady looked so stricken, I thought she was going to cry.
