In the wake of the recent Paris terror attacks, ISIS is enjoying a surge in new declarations of war against them. Most notably, France, of course, joined by Russia. And, as we've been reporting, the hacktivist group Anonymous.
But apparently, one group was way ahead of its time in declaring war on ISIS -- none other than the New York mafia. As the International Business Times reports, news outlets such as the New York Post and Reuters are reporting on an stern warning the group delivered to ISIS -- all the way back in 2012. In the interview from three years ago -- long before President Obama even declared ISIS the "J.V. team" -- son of infamous mobster John Gambino, Giovanni Gambino, told NBC News the Islamic State was an opportunity to show the world that the Italian mafia could do a better job of protecting New York than the New York City Police Department. He warned ISIS that if it planned to attack New York, it would have the Mafia to contend with.
Via RT:
The son of a New York mob boss has given Islamic State a stark warning, saying if they are planning any attacks in New York, they will have to contend with the Sicilian mafia. The notorious crime syndicate say they want to do their bit to protect locals. Giovanni Gambino, the son of a key figure in the Gambino mob organization, says the mafia is in a much better position than security bodies, such as the FBI or Homeland Security, to give New Yorkers the protection they need.

What is a white italian in a suit going to do in a muslim “no-go” zone?
LOLing here ...
You figure that one out ;-)
The Mafia is a great deal more respected than Dorkbama the Muslim.
Calling Saturday Night Live! This is a parody skit writing itself.
We’ve become a 3rd world banana republic when the government is too politically divided and bureaucratic to act, and instead various gangs and power blocs compete for power.
And they would be better at it also. It’s nothing personal; it’s just business.
Brings back memories of Max Clinger.
“Communists, shmommunists. Let’s see them come to Toledo and start trouble. They’d wind up in the trunk of a Buick!”
...or something close to the above...
I have long thought that we should cut a deal with the Tony Sopranos of the world. We’ll look the other way at some of your numbers and prostitution activity if you in turn begin disposing of Islamists for us in ways beyond the reach of CAIR or the ACLU.
If history has a say, key folks on certain lists seem to quietly dissappear. No frills, no fanfare, no media, no hype, just business. They don't follow the rules or laws.
I don't support it. But we are at a point where the lesser of evils is better than the alternative. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. When evil is confronting evil for the good of righteous... well, it gets confusing.
If FEDEX starts deliverying heads to ISIS families in Syria and IRAQ, compliments of the Mafia, they can send a stronger message than our own government. I don't want to encourage them, but I'll take all the help we can get at this point to protect our country.
On a related note, I have a buddy from NJ that I hunt deer with. He puts the deer in the trunk and THEN shoots it.
Exactly right. You will start seeing Muslims in America simply vanish, disappear and no one will know where they went. Hint, they will be holding hands with Jimmy Hoffa.
American Thinker has a piece that says ISIS avoids Sicily out of fear.
Good!
Very efficient and less time consuming than the years of judicial bantering Isis doesn’t understand ALL and every aspect of America.
Governor Pence is not just rejecting the refugees because he understands Hoosiers. Because he understands Hoosiers he understands that the refugees are not safe here. Guns and bibles are prominent in each home with guns being the most prominent.
Good one!
In his defense, I must say, “It is hard to break old habits!”
