A RUSSIAN helicopter has been downed while searching for the pilots who ejected from their burning jet after it was shot down this morning while flying over Syria, according to unconfirmed reports.

I am starting to hanker for some good side dishes along with the turkey. And pie. Chocolate cream pie with meringue topping. Yep, that’ll do it.
they have more money than us! we are nearly 20 trillion in debt!
Haha. I was just going to post a new story about the meeting. You beat me!
I've heard a story that among the supplies sent were boxes of condoms, which the Russians refused, saying that the condoms were good enough for Americans, but they simply weren't big enough for Russian men. In an attempt to rectify the problem, the U.S. condom manufacturers were asked to produce a super-sized condom to fit the supposed Russian studhorses. The company awarded the contract complied, but stamped each box of the extra-large condoms with the word MEDIUM.
Just an anecdote, and probably apocryphal, but it's funny nonetheless!
Britain’s foreign secretary, Philip Hammond, has accused a Labour MP of being an “apologist for Russian actions” after questions were raised in Parliament about Turkey’s reliability as a British ally.
LOL. A catfight.
Hopefully the Russians will pick up the pace in killing the Muslim menace.
Interesting French pres hollande has a scheduled meeting with Obama and a news conference at 1130. From there, he is scheduled to go to Russia.
According to the Telegraph, the Free Syrian Army shot down the helicopter searching the wreckage, using US-made missiles. “The Rebels’ usage of these American-made TOW missiles has increased over 800 per cent since Russia began air strikes against them at the end of September.”
Zerohedge quote sums it up:
“US-backed forces supported by Ankara and Riyadh are now using weapons supplied by Washington to shoot down Russian aircraft.”
Who said anything about warm and fuzzy? I just quoted an old saying.
Funny...I had the EXACT same thought when I saw this article. I watched HFRO...for about the 20th time...just last week.
Look at the bright side. The Kurds are FINALLY about to get the weapons they’ve been hoping for. IN SPADES!!
Didn’t we and Germany just recently remove our ground to air missile
defense from Turkey?
If I know my history, that would probably be true of the U.S. as well. The Germans had fantastic equipment, based not only on superior German engineering and German standards of quality, but we had worse equipment in quantities such that if something broke or was destroyed it could immediately be replaced. There's a lesson in that for people fighting wars.
Not me. This is what the Founding Fathers called "an entangling alliance." The Turks have been using and abusing NATO more than participating in it since Erdogan took power.
Russia's economy runs on oil, and with prices down, so is revenue. If they can't have the pipelines they want, they can at least reduce the supply from 'troubled' regions, and such geopolitical instability has a way of raising oil prices by itself. Any loss of marginal capacity in the world oil markets will increase prices, and Russia would benefit from that.
Check this angry Russian babe.
“The pilots that were shot down, were fighting with terrorists, to save your and our civilians” the sign reads in Moscow
In this case Russia is not the evil force.
Indeed, what's to bomb that's going to make a difference? It's like fighting a cockroach invasion with a howitzer. Lots of bang, but not much effect.
Hussein always sides with our enemies.
Unfortunately, he also owes Russia big time for the success of the insertion spy team “discovered” shortly after his coronation that we couldn’t send home fast enough.
We’ve heard how how our military supplies are “accidentally” dropped to ISIS, and the Fraud WARNS our targets in advance when he feels absolutely forced into some actual air strikes.
And half of American voters would be happy to elect him again.
Stupid leftist freaks.
