I think that was possibly my favorite speech of his of the dozen or so I’ve watched. I was actually relieved that he brought in more stuff than usual beyond just his standard stump speech.
I especially appreciated his recollections of 9/11—how he could see the Twin Towers from his apartment, how he watched the second plane hit and saw people jumping to their deaths, how he knew several people who were killed, etc. No wonder he’s hardline on terrorism. And I’m glad he quoted from the WaPo article about the people celebrating the attacks in Jersey City. He sure hit the waterboarding stuff hard too.
That was heartbreaking when he relayed the details of seeing people jump to their deaths. My, oh my!! Someone said that Trump changed after 9/11. I’ll bet this scenario did the trick.

agreed he now knows the 911 needs to be part of the conversation and how this is not finished. the guy looks like he will make the world work again. at least for 10 years.
He is clearly setting up the drive-boys with his 9/11 recollections.
