Russia's strongman Vladimir Putin has been overseeing the daily airstrikes in Syria from a colossal three-floor war room in Moscow. Long rows of identical desks and computer terminals are crammed into the enormous space, filling up three floors with analysts monitoring activities in the conflict zone. Sitting at a desk on the central level of the first floor, the Russian President can be seen observing every detail. Putin is surrounded by his trusted military advisers, who have been working hard to shore up the Assad regime in Syria.

Should someone really want to have fun with a panty-waist liberal, or better, one of those cock-blockedy ‘lives matter’ peons, just show them the picture of the control room, with everybody in it, without saying where it came from (of course there were no photos of any intelligible written language on the displays), and ask their opinion.
What do you think the first thing the liberal would see?
(there’s no girls!)
What do you think the cock-blockedy ‘lives matter’ fool would see?
(there’s no negroids!)
Then watch their heads explode!
On the other hand, 0bama's golf cart not so many.
Is it possible that the Russians don't share our devotion to diversity and social justice in their military?!?!
Maybe they're all stuck in the enlisted ranks. /sarc
I almost never mention Russia without saying "Russia, not ashamed of being white".
In the Russian photo?
In the US photo.
“you have to stand on your head an twist yourself into a pretzel to convince yourself that this picture isnât propagandist crap from the people that invented propagandist crap.
I never thought I would find apologists for old soviet cold warriors at FR. for many, their justified contempt for BHO has completely unraveled them.”
Based on the picture of discussion, there is absolutely nothing in there that proves it is propaganda. Yes, it could be, but there is no evidence to support such a claim. Was the picture posed? It appears that way, but if it is posed that does not mean the equipment is fake, nor does that mean it is not some sort of real command center.
What I got from the picture, as you probably see as propaganda, is that they appear to have a very modern command center.
Now what does that mean to me? It means they are steadily upgrading their abilities while under a leftist regime our abilities degrade with each passing day. What was the Soviet Empire is a rebuilt Russia now capable of taking on military rolls we chicken out on or do half assed.
For the time being their best propaganda is what they are doing that is good, which is killing muzzie terrorists. In the meantime we sit back and fearlessly, practically single-handedly take on such such enemies as global warming while at the same time battling LGBT enemies.
In the meantime Russia is building respect, and may just regain that empire of theirs as a result in part of their saving the west.
Troubling lack of diverthity in that photo.
Not to them it isn’t.
I guess they are after results rather than fuzzy feelings.
America used to be like that.
The FTA site has a video which explains why everyone looks so posed (if you are wiling to sit through 15 minutes of Russian with subtitles). It is a high level media briefing event detailing what Russia is doing and going to do (these are the army guys next to Putin - the rest have nothing much to say). They revel that they are using 12 mobile satellites to track developments and are launching new ones and apparently show a firing position for a Russian Siberian arty unit.
Their early strikes hit among other things, 6 fuel storage sites, 2 fuel convoys - wasting 50 vehicles - I’m sure the Russian did this without warning (the US gave 45 minutes warning after dropping leaflets for a similar op - the difference is stark).
The room would obviously not be operational during this event.
