Forty percent of millennials support government censorship of speech offensive to minority groups, according to a survey released Friday.
The Pew Research Center found that millennials were the most likely of any age group to agree that government should have the authority to stop people from saying things that offend minorities, while Democrats were nearly twice as likely as Republicans to favor such bans.
The result comes amid a growing campus movement to ban “microaggressions†and create “safe spaces†free from statements deemed offensive to “marginalized†groups, including racial, ethnic and LGBT minorities.

People have a right to object to what you say. Putting someone in jail for it is another thing.
What the hell is microaggression? People keep talking about it but I have no idea what it is. Just a teeny tiny bit of aggression? Where does it cross to being macroaggression?
It doesn't matter if 100% of the idiotic self-absorbed narcissistic incompetent (live in their parents basements much?) twits think it should be banned. The founding fathers in their wisdom put the 1st amendment in place for just such nitwits.

I’d much rather ban millennials.
They are of a generation that cannot think. They are not able to extrapolate that by banning certain words and expressions, other words and expressions will continue to be added until even the most innocuous language, if it offends just one sensibility, will be forbidden.
This will continue until their minds are leached of any ability to express anything other the barren landscape of a expunged culture.
Of course, that is the point.

Those that are “harmed” by what others say need to strengthen themselves, ignore that talk, and set and pursue goals that will improve their lives. America is the best place in the world to do that.
