I was getting worried that FR didn’t get my latest money order when I didn’t see my ‘name’ on the 4th quarter donor list.
A question(s), perhaps of use in FR thon’s?
1) What is the least expensive method to FR for us to contribute?
...Credit, debit, personal check, money order, pay pal, other? I know that there is a handling charge for many institutions and that is why I chose to use a money order.
Is this beneficial or not? Perhaps the accounting/handling on your end doesn’t make it so?
2) I recall from prior FR thon’s (c.2005?) that there was a figure given which broke down the number of users/readers and if each gave ($28~29), that would cover the quarter or was it year?
And there was ‘donate once’ button. (?) (now,like paying a utility bill, or ordering online).
Just my thoughts, probably won’t get the chance or reason to contact you all again about this (and/or those that I’ve missed or shouldn’t ping).
FWIW, I’m on my 3rd iteration here @ FR. Initially signed up in 2000, used IP provided email address, moved and lost it and then did it again. (Yahoo is at least good for an email address that can move.)
Thanks again for the continuing education and I hope to be able to make up for missed contributions.
