Looks to me like he’s taking private insurers out of the mix, more Medicaid. What are these people with private plans supposed to do?

Obamacare was designed to fail. As Obama himself said his healthcare plan would be a transition to a nationalized, single-payer system.

Meaning I would not be so fast about cheering on Rubio if what he’s done is going to mean that Obama’s REAL plan will happen all the faster.

Marco Rubio wants to import 11-40 million illegal Democrats to vote for Single Payer.

The author uses the word “has” past tense.

Why do we still have Obamacare if this already happened?

Sorry, but this author sounds like the Rubio for President train has arrived. Grateful he helped to prevent the bailout, but we are still stuck with the rest of the Obamacare crap sandwich!!

So insurer’s, who were in on the deal with the democrats, are discovering that Rubio’s fix will bankrupt them & are pulling out of the exchanges?

If so, great! There’ll be a collapse & the Dems no longer have the power to institute single payer.

Rubio’s a reliable conservative except for his huge blind spot about the invasion of the US.

The intent of obamaumaocare (which was supported by big greedy insurance with the lure of mandated coverage and paid premiums).... IS TO FAIL. The announcement of UHG leaving leaves exactly TWO private insurers.

Cloward Piven folks.... never forget. Failure of the systems requires the GUBMINT to provide single payer, single source and a database on govt. level of every American (and gun seizures, mental control al a Soviet gulag etc.) It is CONTROL out of the chaos created. VERY expensive job killing single payer. And it provides “leaders” in legislatures to deliver this.... largesse to their ever grateful govt. slaves. Destroying our country.

American Thinker has it all wrong. Cannot see the design.

How does his law prevent the bailouts when the risk corridors are still in place?

Even if Rubio did this, the failure of Obamacare will very neatly be packaged up and tied with a bow as Republican sabotage. So Democrats get completely off the hook for writing and passing this bad law to begin with. “Oh it would have worked fine without Republican meddling” they will say. Easy out.

Hardly a long term strategy for success for Republicans.

Once Republicans took over Congress Rubio’s bill passed into law.

Something fishy here. Obama had to sign it and the Dems had to agree in the Senate not to filibuster it. More information is needed to see exactly what was in the law that enticed Obama and the Dems to approve it.

Smaller healthcare providers get eaten up by conglomerates, or simply go(forced)out of business. What’s left are a handful of conglomerates which eventually consolidate into one. Then that one becomes the government...because, in the end, only gov. is allowed to create money out of thin air to pay it’s bills.

Sorry but zer0 wanted this to happen. He wanted the current system to fail so he could force the issue on the single payer thing.

I read the article, Very interesting.....but would like more detail. When was this bill passed and signed into law? Was it part of one of those blank check spending bills?

This will probably be litigated by an insurer, and eventually Roberts and Kennedy will rule that the intent of Congress was a law in which every insurer would be guaranteed to make money.
