Ping
This is good news: means Kasich won’t be the V.P. nominee in a bid to hold OH.
....and they’ll say this is a good thing PING..........
This is why I like Trump...he doesn’t play around...
WOOHOO GO TRUMP!!!
Governor kasich should beware.......Lawyer J. Noble Daggett of St Louis is coming after his ass
Free speech anyone?
I watch Trump’s growth on his twitter account. He is basically adding 500,000 followers per month and 10,000 or more per day.
He is very near 5 million followers. By next February he should have close 7 million followers.
Kasich has 145,000 followers.
Interesting isn’t it?
Unlike almost every other GOP spineless wuss (can you say McConnell?, can you say Boehner?)Trump fights back.
“”Please be advised that in the event your ads contain any false, misleading, defamatory or otherwise tortious statements or representations concerning Mr. Trump’s business or his brand, we will not hesitate to seek immediate legal action,” it continued.
The letter concluded: “Please be guided accordingly.” “
In short: Go ahead, make my day.
This is part of the crossover from business to politics, I think, and I believe it is a net plus for the country. Politics has descended into the gutter long ago, where misleading or lying ads (which are different animals) have been an accepted tactic, where the 'victim' tries to counter the ads solely with factual refutation, and never with appropriate legal remedy.
Think what such a warning might accomplish once the dems are staging the attacks - they do not fear shame, but they DO fear monetary loss, as well as power loss.
The one warning note in my brain on this is that Trump may signal having a thin skin - although having a thin skin about lies is much less a sin than being thin skinned about the truth (like the dems).
The letter was similar in nature to a September cease-in-desist letter The Trump Organization sent to a conservative group, the Club for Growth, that ran attack ads against Trump in Iowa. Some eyebrows were raised because the letter was sent from Trump’s corporation rather than from his campaign.
...
Only the eyebrows of those who have no clue.
Really?
Trump can’t take a critical ad in a political campaign, he has to threaten to sue???
What a baby!
Shrewd to get out in front of it. The lawsuit thing isn’t much of a threat, but starting to frame the narrative now is smart.
A Trump tweet from last night.
“John Kasich was managing director of Lehman Brothers when it crashed, bringing down the world and ruining people’s lives. A total failure!”
Expect that to be heard at the next debate.
Quite Presidential by Democrat Don.
Kasich’s candidacy has reached room temperature. Why is Trump wasting his time on this?
Oh, look - two liberals (Trump & Kasich) in a slap fight.
Trump battles his opponents by his own words during interviews and campaign rallys. The RINOs know that nobody is paying attention to them so there only option is multi-million dollar repetitive TV ads.
