Not necessarily. I think the Hispanics immigrating illegally today are NOT from Mexico, but points further south. Mexico is currently considered one of the "has" nations.

In my area (northeastern NJ) many of the day laborers have disappeared, but I doubt they’ve gone home. The economy is so bad here there is simply little work for them. Many of the businesses that catered to them are slowing down (Latino fast food, bars, etc.); I assume they’ve simply moved on to other areas in better economic health.

i have never met a mexican that hated or loved the US. it was a piggy bank to work 70 hours a week and sooner or later go back home.
